Toshiba VF-MB1 fault codes 3

UP1 001E Undervoltage trip (main circuit)

- The input voltage (in the main circuit) is too low.
    Remedies:
- Check the input voltage and secure the voltage within the specified range. Enable F607 (undervoltage trip selection) and F605 (ride-through control). Use F301 (auto-restart) and F302 (ride-through control).

Etn 0028 Auto-tuning error

- The motor parameters (U, L, Io, F405, F415, F417) are not set correctly.
- The motor with a capacity of 2 classes or less than the inverter is used.
- The output cable is too thin.
- The inverter is used for loads other than those of three-phase induction motors.
- The motor is not connected.
    Remedies:
- Set the left column parameters correctly and set the motor name plate and make an auto-tuning again.
- Set parameters U, L, Io, F405, F415, F417 in the right column again, then auto-tuning again.
- Set the left column parameters correctly and set the motor name plate and make an auto-tuning again.
- Use three-phase induction motors.
- Connect the motor.
- Check whether the secondary magnetic contactor or an electromagnetic contactor.

Etn1 0034, Etn2 0055, Etn3 0056 Auto-tuning error

- The motor is rotating.
- Parameter Pg-6 is set and High speed motor is connected.
    Remedies:
- Check whether the motor shaft stops the rotation of the motor disposal.
- Choose the higher power range drive (1 class up drive is recommended).

EF2 0022 Ground fault trip

- A ground fault occurs in the output cable or the motor.
- Overcurrent of dynamic braking resistor.
    Remedies:
- Check the cable and the motor for ground faults.
- Increase the deceleration time DEC.
- Set the supply voltage correction F307 to 0 or 3.

SOLt 002F Step-out (for PM motor drive only)

- The motor shaft is locked.
- One output phase is open.
- An impact load is applied.
- Using the DC braking function.
    Remedies:
- Unlock the motor shaft.
- Check the interconnection cables between the inverter and the motor.
- Prolong the acceleration/deceleration time.
- Turn off the Step-out function when using the DC braking function or the braking resistor with dynamic braking.

Pcf 0035 Safe torque off error

- Error of safe torque off circuit.
    Remedies:
- Contact your Toshiba distributor.

E-13 002D Over speed fault

- The input voltage fluctuates abnormally.
- Over speed fault due to the overvoltage limit operation.
    Remedies:
- Install an optional dynamic braking module.

E-18 0032 Break in analog signal cable

- The input signal from VIC is equal to or less than the F633 setting.
    Remedies:
- Check the wiring between the inverter and analog input signal device, cables, etc.

E-19 0033 CPU communications error

- A communication error between control CPUs.
    Remedies:
- Check the control device, cables, etc.

E-21 0034 Excessive torque boosted

- The automatic torque boost parameter F402 setting is too high.
- The motor has too small impedance.
    Remedies:
- Set a lower automatic torque boost parameter F402 setting to the rated value and make an auto-tuning again.

E-23 0037 Optional unit fault 2

- An optional device is defective.
    Remedies:
- Contact your Toshiba distributor.

E-32 0040 CPU fault 2

- The control CPU is defective.
    Remedies:
- Contact your Toshiba distributor.

E-33 0041 PTC fault

- PTC thermal sensor is open.
    Remedies:
- Check the PTC-in and output connection to the inverter.

E-37 0045 Servo lock fault

- The motor shaft is not locked in servo lock state.
    Remedies:
- Reduce the load in servo lock operation.

E-39 0047 Auto-tuning error

- When auto-tuning (relating parameters are Pg-6, F400=2) or initial position estimation for permanent magnet motor (relating parameters F9-5, F9-6, F9-7) is activated, the current of the permanent magnet motor exceeded the threshold level.
- The inductance of permanent magnet motor is too small.
    Remedies:
- Auto tuning for permanent magnet motor is not allowed for this motor, please increase inductance value.
- When tuning with initial positional estimation, if the condition with initial positional estimation (F9-5, F9-6, F9-7) is not met, choose other modes should be selected (F9-5 = 0).
- Set F9-5 to 3 for the SPM motor.
