DIN rail power supplies provide DC power for PLCs, sensors, relays and control devices inside electrical panels. This category covers DIN rail mounted power supplies with different input voltage ratings and output capacities.

Check the input voltage and phase configuration, output voltage and total current demand of devices operating simultaneously. Consider temperature derating, ventilation clearances, mounting width and short circuit protection. An enclosed housing does not automatically mean DIN rail compatibility; confirm the mounting method in the product specifications.

For motors and inductive loads, consider more than continuous operating current. A 7.5 A supply may not reliably start a 24 V DC, 5 A motor. Assess starting current and duration together with the supply’s short-term overload capability and protection behaviour.
