What should you compare?

Key selection criteria are rated current or adjustment range, number of poles, operating voltage and AC/DC suitability, short-circuit breaking capacity at that voltage, tripping characteristics and mounting and accessory compatibility. Compare B/C/D curves for MCBs, motor nameplate current and starting conditions for motor protection breakers, and trip units and Icu/Ics ratings for MCCBs. Auxiliary contacts, shunt trips and motor operators must match the breaker series and model.
