Toshiba VF-MB1 fault codes 2


OLr 000F Dynamic braking resistor overload trip

- The deceleration time is too short.
- Dynamic braking loss is too large.
    Remedy:
- Increase the deceleration time DEC.
- Increase the capacity of the dynamic braking resistor.

OLt 0020 Over-torque trip 1

- Over-torque reaches to a detection level and continues.
    Remedy:
- Enable F615 (Torque detection selection).

OLt2 0041 Over-torque trip 2

- The torque detection level at F610 or more and maintain F615 during a predetermined period.
    Remedy:
- Increase the deceleration time DEC.


OH 0010 Overheat

- The cooling fan does not rotate.
- The ambient temperature is too high.
- The vent is blocked up.
- A heat-generating device is installed close to the inverter.
    Remedies:
- The fan requires replacement if it does not rotate during operation.
- Restart the operation by resetting the inverter after it has cooled down.
- Secure sufficient space around the inverter.
- Do not place any heat-generating device near the inverter.

OH2 002E Thermal trip stop command from external device

- A thermal trip command (input terminal function: 4C or 1) is issued by an external control device.
    Remedies:
- The motor is overheated, so check whether the current of the motor exceeds the rated current.

E Emergency stop

- During automatic operation or remote operation, a stop command is entered from the operation panel or a remote input device.
    Remedies:
- If the emergency stop signal is input, reset after releasing this signal.

EEP1 0012 EEPROM fault 1

- A data writing error occurs.
    Remedies:
- Turn off the inverter, then turn it on again. If it does not recover from the error, contact your Toshiba distributor.

EEP2 0013 EEPROM fault 2

- Power supply is cut off during EEPROM operation and data writing is aborted.
- The error occurred when various data was written.
    Remedies:
- Turn the power off temporarily and turn it back on, and then try EEPROM operation again.
- Write the data again. Contact your Toshiba distributor if it occurs frequently.

EEP3 0014 EEPROM fault 3

- A data reading error occurred.
    Remedies:
- Turn off the inverter, then turn it on again. If it does not recover from the error, contact your Toshiba distributor.

Err1 0015 Main unit RAM fault

- The control RAM is defective.
    Remedies:
- Contact your Toshiba distributor.

Err2 0016 Main unit ROM fault

- The control ROM is defective.
    Remedies:
- Contact your Toshiba distributor.

Err3 0017 CPU fault 1

- The control CPU is defective.
    Remedies:
- Contact your Toshiba distributor.

Err4 0018 Communication error

- The communication was broken off.
    Remedies:
- Check the remote control device, cables, etc.

Err5 001A Current detector fault 1

- The current detector is defective.
    Remedies:
- Contact your Toshiba distributor.

Err8 001B Optional unit fault 1

- An optional device has failed.
    Remedies:
- Contact your Toshiba distributor.

Err9 001C Remote keypad disconnection fault

- After run signal is activated by RUN key of the remote keypad, disconnection is occurred in 10 seconds or more.
    Remedies:
- Check the remote keypad for loose connection. Contact your Toshiba distributor if the problem persists.

UC 001D Low-current operation trip

- The output current decreased to a low-current detection level during operation.
    Remedies:
- Enable F610 (low-current detection) and check the settings for F608, F611, and F612.
