Omron V1000 VFD

The Omron V1000 VFD is a compact current vector inverter that is available in three different voltage classes: 200V class single-phase (0.12 to 4.0/5.5 kW), 200V class 3-phase (0.12 to 15/18.5 kW), and 400V class 3-phase (0.2 to 15/18.5 kW).
There are three control modes available for this drive: V/f Control (A1-02 = 0), Open Loop Vector Control (A1-02 = 2), and PM Open Loop Vector Control (A1-02 = 5). The V/f control mode is useful for general variable speed applications and for running multiple motors from a single drive. The Open Loop Vector Control is useful for general variable speed applications and for applications requiring high precision and high speed control.
The PM Open Loop Vector Control is useful for derated torque-load applications employing permanent magnet motors and for energy savings.
The drive also has several different keys and LED lights, such as the ESC key, RESET key, RUN key, Up Arrow key, Down Arrow key, STOP key, and ENTER key, that are used to navigate and control the drive's settings and modes.
A1-01 is the "Access Level Selection" parameter, which selects which parameters are accessible via the digital operator. The options for this parameter are:
0: Operation only (only basic operational parameters are accessible)
1: User Parameters (user-defined parameters are accessible)
2: Advanced Access Level (all parameters are accessible)
A1-02 is the "Control Method Selection" parameter, which selects the control method of the drive. The options for this parameter are:
0: V/f Control (Controls the drive's speed based on the voltage and frequency of the motor)
2: Open Loop Vector (OLV) (Controls the drive's speed and torque based on the voltage and frequency of the motor)
5: PM Open Loop Vector (PM) (Controls the drive's speed and torque based on the voltage and frequency of the permanent magnet motor)
A1-03 is the "Initialize Parameters" parameter, which resets all parameters to default values. The options for this parameter are:
No Initialize (keeps current parameter settings)
1110: User Initialize (The user must first set user parameter values and then store them using parameter o2-03)
2220: 2-Wire Initialization
3330: 3-Wire Initialization
b1-01 is the "Frequency Reference Selection" parameter, which selects the source of the frequency reference for the drive. The options for this parameter are:
0: Operator - d1-XX values (the frequency reference is set by the operator using the keypad)
1: Analog input A1 or A2 (the frequency reference is set by an analog input)
2: Serial Com - RS-422/485 (the frequency reference is set by a serial communication)
3: Option board (the frequency reference is set by an option board)
4: Pulse Input (Terminal RP) (the frequency reference is set by a pulse input)
b1-02 is the "Run Command Selection" parameter, which selects the source of the run command for the drive. The options for this parameter are:
0:Operator - RUN and STOP keys (the run command is given by the operator using the keypad)
1:Terminals - Digital Inputs (the run command is given by digital inputs)
2:Serial Com - RS-422/485 (the run command is given by a serial communication)
3:Option board connected (the run command is given by an option board)
