Omron V1000 fault codes 2
Error Codes and Solutions
bUS: Option Communication Error
Symptoms: Connection lost after initial communication. Detected when the run command frequency reference is assigned to an option card.
Causes and Solutions:
- No signal from the PLC: Check and correct faulty wiring. Ensure no loose wires or short circuits.
- Faulty communication cable or short circuit: Minimize noise effects, use recommended cables, separate wiring, and install noise filters.
- Damaged option card: Replace if wiring is fine and error persists.
- Improper connection of the option card: Realign and reinstall the option card.
CE: MEMOBUS/Modbus Communication Error
Symptom: Control data not received for the set detection time (H5-09).
Causes and Solutions:
- Faulty communications wiring or short circuit: Check and correct wiring. Repair loose wires or short circuits.
- Communications data error due to noise: Follow the same steps as for the bUS error to minimize noise and ensure proper cabling.
CF: Control Fault
Symptom: Torque limit reached continuously for three seconds or longer during a ramp to stop in Open Loop Vector Control.
Causes and Solutions:
- Improper motor parameter settings: Check and repeat Auto-Tuning.
- Torque limit too low: Set the torque limit to an appropriate setting (L7-01 through L7-04).
- High load inertia: Adjust the deceleration time and set the frequency to the minimum value when the drive finishes decelerating.
CoF: Current Offset Fault
Symptom: Problem with the current detection circuit or attempting to start a coasting PM motor.
Causes and Solutions:
- Exceeded allowable setting range during automatic adjustment: Enable Speed Search at start (b3-01 = 1) and use multi-function terminals for External Speed Search 1 and 2 (H1-.. = 61 or 62).
CPF02: A/D Conversion Error
Symptom: An A/D conversion error occurred.
Causes and Solutions:
- Damaged control circuit: Cycle power to the drive. Replace the drive if the problem continues.
- Shorted control circuit terminals: Check and correct wiring. Ensure control terminal input current does not exceed 20 mA.
CPF03: PWM Data Error
Symptom: Problem with the PWM data.
Causes and Solutions:
- Damaged drive hardware: Replace the drive.
CPF06: EEPROM Data Error
Symptom: Error in the data saved to EEPROM.
Causes and Solutions:
- Not specified in the provided text. Generally, this may require checking the EEPROM or replacing the drive if the error persists.
CPF07: Terminal Board Communications Error
Symptom: A communication error occurred at the terminal board.
Causes and Solutions:
- Faulty connection between the terminal board and control board: Turn off the power and reconnect the control circuit terminals.
CPF08: EEPROM Serial Communication Fault
Symptom: EEPROM communications are not functioning properly.
Causes and Solutions:
- Terminal board or control board is not connected properly: Turn off the power and check the control terminal connections.
CPF11: RAM Fault
Symptom: Hardware is damaged.
Causes and Solutions:
- Replace the drive.
CPF12: FLASH Memory Fault
Symptom: Problem with the ROM (FLASH memory).
Causes and Solutions:
- Replace the drive.
CPF13: Watchdog Circuit Exception
Symptom: Self-diagnostics problem.
Causes and Solutions:
- Replace the drive.
CPF14: Control Circuit Fault
Symptom: CPU error (CPU operates incorrectly due to noise, etc.)
Causes and Solutions:
- Replace the drive.
CPF16: Clock Fault
Symptom: Standard clock error.
Causes and Solutions:
- Replace the drive.
CPF17: Timing Fault
Symptom: A timing error occurred during an internal process.
Causes and Solutions:
- Replace the drive.
CPF18: Control Circuit Fault
Symptom: CPU error (CPU operates incorrectly due to noise, etc.)
Causes and Solutions:
- Replace the drive.
CPF19: Control Circuit Fault
Symptom: CPU error (CPU operates incorrectly due to noise, etc.)
Causes and Solutions:
- Replace the drive.
CPF20 or CPF21:
Symptom: One of the following faults occurred: RAM fault, FLASH memory error, watchdog circuit exception, clock error.
Causes and Solutions:
- Replace the drive.
CPF22: A/D Conversion Fault
Symptom: A/D conversion error
