The Sine-wave PWM method (automatic torque boost) is a control method that uses pulse width modulation to control the voltage and frequency applied to the motor. This helps to improve the stability and performance of the motor, especially during high-speed operation and high-torque loads. The frequency control range is from 0.5 to 400 Hz, with a standard range of 1.5 to 400 Hz, and the frequency accuracy is ±0.01% within a temperature range of -10°C to 50°C for digital command and ±1% within a temperature range of 25 ±10°C for analog command.

The frequency setting resolution is 0.1 Hz for digital command and 0.06 Hz for analog command. It also has an overload resistance of 1 minute or less when 150% of rated output current is received. The frequency setting signal can be either 0 to 10 VDC (20 kΩ) or 4 to 20 mA (250 Ω) and it can be switched using the internal DIP switch.

The acceleration and deceleration time can be set between 0.0 to 999 seconds separately. The braking torque is approximately 20% and can be increased to 125% to 220% when braking resistor is externally installed. The Voltage/Frequency characteristics are set by simple V/f pattern setting.
