Welcome to our Toshiba inverter VF-nC3 speed controller page.
Control system: Sinusoidal PWM control, 0.1 to 400.0Hz
Default setting: 0.5 to 80Hz
Maximum frequency: 30 to 400Hz
It can be adjusted in the range of 50 to 330V by correcting the supply voltage (however, output voltage exceeding the input voltage cannot be obtained).
Analog input (when max frequency is 100Hz), 0.01Hz, control panel setting and communication setting.
Digital tuning: Within ±0.1% of maximum frequency (-10 to +60°C)
Analog tuning: Within ±1.0% of maximum frequency (25°C ±10°C), V/f constant, variable torque, auto torque boosting, vector control, automatic energy saving.
Automatic adjustment: Basic frequency (20 - 400Hz) tuning to 1 or 2, torque boost (0 - 30%) tuning to 1 or 2, frequency tuning at start (0.1 - 10Hz)
Adjustment knob on the front panel, external frequency potentiometer (can be connected to a potentiometer with 1 - 10kΩ nominal impedance), 0 - 10Vdc / 0 - 5Vdc (input impedance: VI=40kΩ), 4 - 20mAdc (Input impedance: 250Ω).

Jump frequency and pitch adjustment; Adjustment range from 2 to 16Hz (default: 12kHz).
Upper limit frequency: 0 to max. frequency
Lower limit frequency: 0 to upper limit frequency.
Proportional gain, integrated gain, differential gain, and control dwell time adjustment. Checking whether the processing amount and the feedback amount in the PID control match.
Selectable between 1 and 2 acceleration/deceleration times (0.0 to 3000 seconds). Automatic speed increase/decrease function. S-model speed up/down function 1 and 2. Guided rapid deceleration control.
Braking start frequency: 0 to maximum frequency, braking speed: 0 – 100%, braking time: 0 to 20 seconds, emergency DC braking. None (braking module is optional).
About 60 functions such as forward/reverse run signal input, low-speed run signal input, operation basic signal input, and reset signal input can be assigned to 5 input terminals. You can choose between sink and source.
About 40 functions can be assigned to the relay output and open collector output terminals, such as upper/lower limit frequency signal output, lower speed detection signal output, specified speed reaching signal output, and fault signal output.
The RUN and STOP keys on the control panel are used to start and stop the operation. Forward/reverse operation is possible via communication and contact inputs in the terminal block.

It has the ability to automatically restart after checking the main circuit elements if the protection function is activated. Up to 10 retries can be set through one parameter. It is also possible to protect the parameters from being written by setting a 4-digit password.
In the event of a temporary power failure, the drive can keep the motor running using its regenerative energy. The drive also reads the rotational speed of the freewheeling motor and emits a frequency matching the rotational speed to properly restart the motor.
Anti-stopping, current limiting, overcurrent, output short circuit, overvoltage, undervoltage, earth fault, power supply phase fault, output phase fault, overload protection with electronic thermal function, emergency stop, braking resistor overcurrent/overload, and various pre-alarms.

Switching between standard motor and constant-torque V-F motor, setting of stall prevention levels, reset function by turning off ignition or control panel, storing and deleting fault records, etc.
Various protections for overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating, short circuits, earth faults, motor overload, input/output phase loss, and more.
Monitoring data includes operating frequency, torque, input/output voltage, load factor, cumulative running time, and more.
