Editor's note: Friends, I have been using the Shihlin SS2 series in some applications since it was launched. It works quite well for medium difficulty machines. However, I do not recommend it for crane hooks as it does not have a lifting/lowering macro.
On the other hand, it is also not suitable for fan or pump devices. It can be used for continuous start-stop applications. The SS2 series is at a point below the SE2 series and above the SC3 series.
