Shihlin SC3 is a compact and economical AC motor drive designed for general-purpose speed-control applications. Shihlin inverter products have been available on our website since 2013.

The SC3 is suitable for standard applications such as fans, pumps, small conveyors and other relatively light-duty machinery. For applications requiring higher torque, heavier loading or more advanced motor-control functions, Shihlin SS2 or Shihlin SE2 may be more suitable.

Compact design and simple operation: The SC3 is designed for electrical panels where installation space is limited. Basic operating values can be monitored and drive parameters can be adjusted directly from the operator panel.

The display can be used to monitor values such as motor current, DC bus voltage, output frequency, motor speed and recent fault information. Depending on the application, PID control and other motor-control functions can also be configured through parameters.

Speed reference: Motor speed can be adjusted from the front-panel control dial. External potentiometer, analog input or automation-system references can also be used depending on the application.

Forward / reverse and JOG operation: The SC3 supports basic machine-control functions including forward and reverse motor operation and JOG commands.

PLC and automation integration: SC3 control terminals can be used with different PLC systems for start/stop, direction and speed-reference control.

Power range: The source page lists approximately the following SC3 power ranges:
• 220 V: 0.2–2.2 kW
• 380 V: 0.2–5.5 kW
