inovance is600/620 servo manuals
The IS620 series offers a range of features and benefits for general purpose applications. These include high performance with a current loop bandwidth of over 4 kHz, speed loop bandwidth of 1.2 kHz, and a 23-bit resolution multi-turn absolute encoder. The series also offers a wide range of reliable operation, with supply voltage options including single-phase 220V, three-phase 220V, and three-phase 380V, and a selection of motor frame sizes and rated torques.
The series is also network compatible, with options including pulse/analog, EtherCAT, and CANopen. The IS620 series also features proprietary Inovance algorithms for powerful performance.
The built-in encoder, developed in-house, has a resolution of 8 million pulses per revolution and is designed for extremely precise positioning applications. The IS620 series offers a smaller footprint and higher performance compared to previous models, and the MS1H1 and MS1H4 motors are suitable for equipment requiring high torque (maximum torque of 350%).
The IS620 series is a family of servo drives that are designed for position, speed, and torque control via pulse/analog, EtherCAT, MODBUS, and CANopen protocols. These servo drives are engineered to provide high performance and reliability while maintaining a compact footprint. The built-in encoder has a resolution of 8 million pulses per revolution, allowing for extremely precise positioning applications such as industrial robots, machine tools, and semiconductor manufacturing machinery. The system's battery ensures data is backed up at servo drive power-off and calculates the mechanical absolute position after servo drive power-on.
The IS620 servo drives have a speed loop bandwidth of 1.2 kHz, which measures how fast the motor can respond. The high response control based on torque feedforward can reduce the settling time of machines, resulting in shorter settling time, reduced positioning time, and higher throughput. The IS620 series also features self-adaptive notch filtering, load inertia identification, and automatic gain adjustment for speed and position loop gains. The machine can be automatically optimized using the automatic gain tuning function based on the stiffness level to achieve fast response and stability.
The IS620 family of servo drives supports a variety of protocols, including pulse/analog input, EtherCAT, MODBUS RTU, internal positioning (up to 16 positions can be stored), and point-to-point positioning using a simple digital input from the controller. The servo drives are available in different sizes and with different rated currents, input voltages, and installation options. They are also equipped with built-in regenerative resistors and have various customized functions such as 16-bit analog input, CANlink, and CANopen.
EtherCAT is a high-performance industrial Ethernet technology that offers a flexible topology and is commonly used in automation applications. The IS620N servo drive is designed to work with EtherCAT and is compatible with the CiA 402 drive profile, which is mapped to EtherCAT. The CiA 402 profile is based on the IEC 61800-7-201 standard and offers various control modes, such as profile position mode (PP), profile velocity mode (PV), profile torque mode (PT), homing mode (HM), and cyclic synchronous position mode (CSP), cyclic synchronous velocity mode (CSV), and cyclic synchronous torque mode (CST). CoE (CAN application protocol over EtherCAT) is the most commonly used EtherCAT communication protocol for acyclic data access, and it also provides a mechanism for configuring PDOs for cyclic data exchange. The IS620N servo drive can be configured and controlled using the TwinCAT platform or a third-party controller platform that supports EtherCAT.
The IS620P-CO servo drive is designed for use in CANopen networks, which are commonly used in embedded machine control systems. The drive supports several operation modes specified in the internationally standardized CiA 402 device profile for drives and motion controllers, including position, speed, and torque modes. It also supports auto-tuning using position JOG and self-adjustment, with inertia auto-tuning to calculate the estimated inertia of the load. An oscilloscope function is provided to monitor servo motor performance, and a mechanical analysis function can diagnose the natural frequency of the system. The drive supports electronic CAM and advanced functions, and its real-time monitoring parameters can be read and written, and its DI/DO can be graphically configured. The IS620P-CO only supports slave mode and one master node in the network, with addresses between 1 and 63 for each node.
