The LX1N-24MT PLC is a small but fast and versatile programmable logic controller that offers excellent value for money. With the ability to combine compact base units with small modular expansion units and compact I/O expansion units, the LX1N provides an economical solution that combines the cost benefits of compact systems with the versatile expansion capabilities of modular systems. The base units in the LX1N series can be easily combined with all LX0N or LX2N extension units, making it highly flexible and adaptable for a wide range of applications.

The LX1N series is designed with CPUs that offer more power and modular expansion capabilities compared to the LX1S series. It allows for the selection of I/O expansion modules and special function modules suitable for various applications.

Installation of the modules is straightforward and easy. All modules come with an integrated DIN adapter for snap-on installation on DIN rail systems. Additionally, they can also be installed on flat surfaces with screw fastenings if preferred.

The CPU's system bus is connected to the expansion and special function modules using a standard flat ribbon cable in the LX1N and LX2N/LX2NC series. This eliminates the need for any other internal system wiring when connecting the CPU and modules.

The system structure of LX1N series includes a base unit with full PLC functionality, an integrated power supply unit, a CPU, maintenance-free EEPROM memory, integrated digital inputs and outputs, and extension units for adapting the controller system to the required I/O ranges and functionality. The system is configurable as a slave station in peer-to-peer and 1:n networks, and can be integrated into different open networks with related special function modules. User-friendly programming systems are also available, including IEC 1131.3-compatible programming software, HMIs, and hand-held programming units. A wide range of accessories are also offered.

Base units are available in different versions with varying power supply and output type configurations, including 100-230VAC or 12-24VDC power supplies and relay or transistor outputs. All versions of the base unit have the same basic CPU and performance specifications. Functional and interface adapters, as well as a display module, can be installed directly into the controller. The LX1N has improved performance and functionality, faster processing speeds, an enlarged counting frequency at the counter inputs, enhanced programming capacity, enhanced communications functions, and an ample device range compared to its predecessor module.

However, if your projects require more advanced features such as high-speed counters, analog I/O, and higher program capacity, I would recommend checking out our newer versions of PLC models.
