Toshiba P7 VFD: Standard Specifications by Types

The Toshiba P7 VFD is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of applications with its versatile features and specifications. Available in both 200 V and 400 V classes, the P7 VFD offers models suitable for various motor capacities.

200 V Class Specifications:

    Applicable motor capacities range from 18.5 kW to 55 kW.
    Output capacities range from 28 kVA to 84 kVA, with output currents from 73 A to 220 A.
    Output voltage is 3-phase 200 to 230 V.
    Rated overload current is 120% for 1 minute and 180% for 0.5 second.
    Dynamic braking circuit is built-in, with optional external braking resistor/braking unit.
    Protection structure is IP20 for enclosed type and IP00 for open type.
    Cooling system is forced-air cooling, and the coating color is Munsell 5Y-8/0.5.
    EMI filter is an optional external installation.

400 V Class Specifications:

    Applicable motor capacities range from 18.5 kW to 90 kW.
    Output capacities range from 28 kVA to 143 kVA, with output currents from 37 A to 180 A.
    Output voltage is 3-phase 380 to 400 V.
    Rated overload current is 120% for 1 minute and 180% for 0.5 second.
    Similar to the 200 V class, dynamic braking circuit, protection structure, cooling system, and EMI filter options are available.

Additional Features for Both Classes:

    Control method is sinusoidal PWM control, with output voltage adjustment based on main circuit voltage feedback control.
    Output frequency range is 0.01 to 400 Hz, with various frequency setting options and precision controls.
    Voltage/frequency characteristic includes constant V/f, variable torque, automatic torque boost, vector control, and automatic energy-saving control.
    Acceleration/deceleration time can be set from 0.01 to 6000 sec, with options for automatic acceleration/deceleration and S-pattern acceleration/deceleration patterns.
    Protective functions include stall prevention, current limit, over-current, over-voltage, load-side short-circuit, load-side ground fault, undervoltage, momentary power failure, regeneration power ride-through control, electronic thermal overload protection, and more.
    Monitoring function provides detailed information on operation frequency, output current, DC voltage, output voltage, compensated frequency, terminal board input/output information, tripping history, cumulative operation time, speed feedback, torque, and more.
