Yaskawa V1000 Fault codes 2
Yaskawa V1000 error codes and their descriptions:
bUS - Option Communication Error
- Connection was lost after initial communication was established.
- Detected only when the run command frequency reference is assigned to an option card.
- Possible Causes and Solutions:
+ No signal from PLC.
+ Check cable connections.
+ Correct cable connections.
+ Check for loose cable connections and shorts, and repair as necessary.
+ Communication cable is faulty or shorted.
+ Communication data error due to noise.
+ Check various options to minimize the effects of noise.
+ Prevent noise in control circuit, main circuit, and grounding wiring.
+ Use cables recommended by Yaskawa or another type of shielded cable. Ground the shield on the controller side or on the drive input power side.
+ Separate all wiring for communication devices from drive input power lines. Install an EMC noise filter on the input side of the drive input power.
+ Option card is damaged.
+ Option card is not properly connected to the drive.
CE - MEMOBUS/Modbus Communication Error
- Control data was not received for the duration of the CE detection time set to H5-09.
- Possible Causes and Solutions:
+ Error or short circuit in communication wiring.
+ Communication data error due to noise.
CF - Control Error
- A torque limit was continuously reached for three seconds or longer during the stop ramp in Open Loop Vector Control.
- Possible Causes and Solutions:
+ Motor parameters are not properly set.
+ Torque limit is too low.
+ Load inertia is too large.
CoF - Current Offset Error
- There is a problem with the current sensing circuit, or the drive is trying to run a PM motor that is in motion.
- Possible Causes and Solutions:
+ While the drive is automatically setting the current offset, the calculated value exceeded the allowable setting range. This problem can occur when trying to restart a PM motor that is in motion.
CPF02 - A/D Conversion Error
- An A/D conversion error has occurred.
- Possible Causes and Solutions:
+ Control circuit is damaged.
+ Control circuit terminals shorted (+V, AC).
CPF03 - PWM Data Error
- There is a problem with the PWM data.
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Drive hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
CPF06 - EEPROM Data Error
- There is an error in the data stored in the EEPROM.
- Possible Causes and Solutions:
+ Control circuit is damaged. Cycle power to the drive. If the problem persists, replace the drive.
+ Power supply was turned off while parameters were being written (e.g., using a communication option card). Restart the drive (A1-03).
CPF07 - Terminal Card Communication Error
- A communication error has occurred in the terminal card.
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ There is a connection error between the terminal card and the control card. Turn off power and reconnect the control circuit terminals.
CPF08 - EEPROM Serial Communication Error
- Communications with the EEPROM are not functioning properly.
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Terminal card or control card is not properly connected. Turn off power and check control terminal connections.
CPF11 - RAM Error
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
CPF12 - FLASH Memory Error
- There is a problem with the ROM (FLASH memory).
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
CPF13 - Watchdog Circuit Exception
- Self-diagnosis problem.
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
CPF14 - Control Circuit Error
- CPU error (CPU is malfunctioning due to noise, etc.).
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
CPF16 - Clock Error
- Standard clock error.
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
CPF17 - Timing Error
- A timing error occurred during an internal process.
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
CPF18 - Control Circuit Error
- CPU error. Non-Maskable Interrupt (an unusual interrupt triggered by noise, etc.).
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
CPF19 - Control Circuit Error
- CPU error (manual reset due to noise, etc.).
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
CPF20 or CPF21
- One of the following errors occurred: RAM error, FLASH memory error, watchdog circuit exception, clock error
+ RAM error.
+ FLASH memory error (ROM error).
+ Watchdog circuit exception (self-diagnosis error).
+ Clock error.
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
CPF22 - A/D Conversion Error
- An A/D conversion error.
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Control circuit is damaged.
+ Cycle power to the drive. Refer to the Troubleshooting and Reset section on page 266.
+ If the problem persists, replace the drive.
CPF23 - PWM Feedback Error
- PWM feedback error.
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
CPF24 - Drive Capacity Signal Error
- A non-existent capacity was entered. (Checked when the drive is energized.)
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ Hardware is damaged. Replace the drive.
dEv - Speed Deviation (for Simple V/f with PG)
- According to the pulse input (RP), the speed deviation continues for a longer period than set in F1-11 with respect to the setting in F1-10.
- Possible Causes and Solutions:
+ Load is too heavy. Reduce the load.
+ Acceleration and deceleration times are set too short. Increase acceleration and deceleration times (C1-01 - C1-08).
+ Load is locked. Check the machine.
+ Parameters are not properly set. Check the settings of parameters F1-10 and F1-11.
+ Motor brake is engaged. Ensure that the motor brake is properly released.
dWFL - DriveWorksEZ Error
- dWAL - DriveWorksEZ Program Error Output
- Possible Cause and Solution:
+ An error output was made by DriveWorksEZ. Correct the cause of the error.
EF0 - Option Card External Error
- An external error condition exists.
- Possible Causes and Solutions:
+ An external error was received from the PLC, except for F6-03 = 3 "alarm only" (drive continued to operate after the external error).
+ Eliminate the cause of the external error.
+ Remove the external error input from the PLC.
+ There is a problem in the PLC program. Check the PLC program and correct any issues.
