Shihlin servo fault codes

Hello esteemed colleagues,

Below, you can find the error codes and their solutions for Shihlin Servo systems.

Abnormal Alarm List and Solutions:
Alarms or warnings are displayed if faults occur during the operation process.

When the PD19 parameter is set as xxxx1, alarm codes can be provided as output.
Alarm codes are output as ON/OFF between each PIN and SG. Warnings (AL12 - AL13) are not coded.
The alarm codes in the table below are given as output when there's an alarm. In normal circumstances, these codes are the signals before the output alarm signal setting.

AL.01 High Voltage
Abnormal behavior content:
Action to be taken when the main loop voltage is greater than the specification.

Main loop input voltage is higher than the allowed value
Measure with a voltmeter to check if the main loop input voltage is within the permitted range.
Use a proper voltage source or series voltage stabilizer.

Power supply input error (wrong power supply system)
Check with a voltmeter if the power supply system meets the specification.
Use a proper voltage source or series voltage stabilizer.

    Mechanical hardware failure
While the errors continue, measure with a voltmeter to check if the main loop input voltage is within the permitted range.
Return the machine to the dealer or factory for repair.

AL.02 Low Voltage
Abnormal behavior content:
Action to be taken when the main loop voltage is below the specification.

Abnormal Alarm Reason: Main loop input voltage is lower than the allowed voltage
Abnormal Investigation Method: Check if the main loop input voltage wiring is normal.
Abnormal Processing Method: Confirm the voltage wiring.

Abnormal Alarm Reason: No input voltage source for the main loop input voltage
Abnormal Investigation Method: Check with a voltmeter if the main loop voltage is normal.
Abnormal Processing Method: Confirm the power source switch.

Abnormal Alarm Reason: Power supply input error (wrong power supply system)
Abnormal Investigation Method: Evaluate with a voltmeter if the power supply system meets the specification.
Abnormal Processing Method: Use a proper voltage source or series voltage stabilizer.

AL.03 Excessive Current
Abnormal alarm behavior content:
Action taken when the main loop current value exceeds 1.5 times the motor's instantaneous maximum current.

    Abnormal motor wiring
Abnormal Investigation Method: Check the cable sequence between the motor and actuator.
Abnormal Processing Method: Reconnect the cables following the sequence provided in the guide.

    Motor output short circuit
Abnormal Investigation Method: Check if there's a short circuit in the cables between the motor and actuator.
Abnormal Processing Method: Remove the short circuit and prevent exposure of the metal conductor.

    IGBT abnormality
Abnormal Investigation Method: IGBT Abnormal cooler temperature.
Abnormal Processing Method: Return the machine to the representative or factory for repair.

    Abnormal control parameter setting
Abnormal Investigation Method: Check if the setting value is greater than the factory default value.
Abnormal Processing Method: Reset to factory default value and make corrections gradually.

AL.04 Abnormal Regeneration
Abnormal alarm behavior content:
Action taken for abnormal regeneration control.

    Invalid regeneration transistor switch
Abnormal Investigation Method: Check if the regeneration transistor switch is short-circuited.
Abnormal Processing Method: Return the machine to the representative or factory for repair.

    Disconnected regenerative resistor
Abnormal Investigation Method: Check the connection of the regenerative resistor.
Abnormal Processing Method: Reconnect the regenerative resistor.

    Parameter setting error
Abnormal Investigation Method: Check the setting value of the regenerative resistor parameter and the properties of the regenerative resistor.
Abnormal Processing Method: Reset the values.

AL.05 Overload
Abnormal alarm behavior content:
Action taken for motor and actuator overload.

Continuing to use when the actuator exceeds the nominal load
Abnormal Investigation Method: Check if the overload is too large.
Abnormal Processing Method: Increase motor capacity or reduce the load.

    Control system parameter setting
Abnormal Investigation Method: Check for any machine vibration.
Abnormal Processing Method: Perform acceleration/deceleration automatic adjustment.

    Unstable system
Abnormal Investigation Method: The set acceleration/deceleration constant is too fast.
Abnormal Processing Method: Slow down the acceleration/deceleration adjustment time.

    Position encoder, motor wiring error
Abnormal Investigation Method: Check the wiring of U, V, W, and the position encoder.
Abnormal Processing Method: Do the correct wiring.
