Cylinder type sensors

Welcome back to Otomasyon AVM,

On our website, you can find various types of cylindrical inductive sensors. Different sensor types are classified according to their mounting areas below.

Since cylindrical inductive sensors are commonly used, it is important to consider factors such as size, sensing distance, and output type that are suitable for the application when making a selection. Environmental factors can also be effective in the selection. For example, if there are high temperature or humidity conditions, these factors should be considered. Details such as connection types and cable lengths are also important. After considering all of these, it is best to choose the one that is suitable for the application among NPN or PNP output sensors.

The quickest way to access the products you are looking for on our website is to proceed step by step. For example, for a Metric 30 NPN NO sensor:

Sensors>>Inductive Sensors>>Cylindrical Inductives>>Metric 30>>NPN>>NO

All of our products' connection diagrams and carefully selected similar products' photos are given below them. The images of the selected products are the product's own images, not copy-paste.

NPN or PNP Output Sensor?

Output type Nc or No ?

Our website has more NPN sensors because NPN (- output signal) sensors are more compatible with field conditions. Therefore, when selecting a sensor, it is important to consider the connection diagram and sensing distance. They can work more reliably with PLC controller and devices such as counters and tachometers in terms of noise compared to PNP sensors.

In addition to the size, output type, and head type of the sensors, there are also flat-headed and protruding-headed models. Flat-headed sensors are preferred for the clearest and healthiest detection because the body is already metal and only sensitive to the metal in front. Therefore, they cannot detect undesired materials from other directions. We generally prefer flat-headed models in our projects.

Protruding-headed sensors can detect not only objects in front but also metal objects in the neck section. Of course, the structure of the application area is also effective.

There is a section on our website where you can find connection diagrams and evaluations that can help you when selecting a sensor.

In conclusion, by selecting the most suitable cylindrical inductive sensor among the types available on our website according to your application's requirements, you can make your work more accurate and efficient. Our customer service team is ready to help you anytime you need assistance or have any questions.
