You are in the Inovance MD series VFD Drive Fault Codes and Solutions section.
It appears that there are multiple issues
that could be causing the motor not to rotate, the DI terminals to be
disabled, the motor speed to be always low in CLVC mode (Close loop vector), the AC drive to
report overcurrent and overvoltage frequently, and Err17 to be reported upon power-on or running. Here are some suggested steps to address each issue:
If the motor does not rotate after the AC drive runs, first check the motor and motor cables.
If they are normal, check and re-set the motor parameters in the AC drive. If the problem persists, check the cable between the drive board
and control board for poor contact. If that is not the issue, it is
possible that the drive board is faulty and needs to be replaced.
If
the DI terminals are disabled, check and reset the parameters in group
04. Also, check the external signal cables and confirm that the jumper
bar across OP and +24V is properly connected. If the problem persists, the control board may be faulty and technical support should be contacted.
If
the motor speed is always low in CLVC mode, check the encoder and encoder cable for proper connection and contact. If they are normal,
replace the PG card. If the issue is not resolved, technical support should be contacted.
If the
AC drive reports overcurrent and overvoltage frequently, first check
and re-set the motor parameters or perform motor auto-tuning. Also, set
the proper acceleration/deceleration time. If the problem is due to load
fluctuations, technical support should be contacted.
If Err17 is reported upon power-on or running,
check whether the soft startup contactor is picked up. If it is not,
check whether the contactor cable is loose, whether the contactor is faulty, or whether the 24V power supply of the contactor is faulty. If none of these issues are found, technical support should be contacted.
