Er.b03 - Electronic Gear Ratio Setting Error

Error Code Explanation:
This error indicates that the electronic gear ratio settings are outside the valid range. The electronic gear ratio must be between 0.001 and 4000. Incorrect encoder resolution and gear ratio settings can trigger this error.

Causes and Solutions:

Electronic gear ratio settings are outside the limits:
Detection Method: If H05-02 = 0, check the ratios of H05-07/H05-09 and H05-11/H05-13. If H05-02 > 0, check the encoder resolution and the respective ratios.
Solution: Ensure the encoder resolution and the ratios of H05-02, H05-07/H05-09, and H05-11/H05-13 are within the 0.001 - 4000 range.

   Incorrect parameter change sequence:
Detection Method: When the parameters related to the electronic gear ratio (H05-02, H05-07/H05-09, H05-11/H05-13) are changed, the sequence might be incorrect, and the ratios may exceed the limits during calculations.
Solution: Reset the errors or restart the system. Change the parameters in the correct sequence.

Important Notes:

The electronic gear ratio is a critical parameter that affects the accuracy and speed of the servo motor. Incorrect settings may negatively impact motor performance.
When adjusting the parameters, ensure that the values match the encoder resolution and the physical characteristics of the motor.

This error can be resolved by setting the correct ratios and changing the parameters in the correct sequence.

Er.b04 - Fully Closed-Loop Function Parameter Setting Error

Error Code Explanation:
This error occurs when attempting to switch between internal encoder feedback and external encoder feedback in fully closed-loop mode.

Causes and Solutions:

Switching between internal and external encoder in fully closed-loop mode:
Detection Method: Check if H0F-00 is set to 2. Also, verify if the position reference source is internal and whether there are multiple position transitions.
Solution: In fully closed-loop mode, if the position reference source is internal, only external encoder feedback can be used. Therefore, set H0F-00 to 1.

Important Notes:

In fully closed-loop mode, external encoder feedback provides higher accuracy for position control. Selecting the wrong feedback source may prevent the motor from operating correctly.
Setting the correct value for the H0F-00 parameter is crucial for the system's correct operation. Carefully check this parameter when switching between internal and external encoder feedback.

This error can be resolved by selecting external encoder feedback in fully closed-loop mode. Verifying the parameter settings will correct the issue.

Er.d03 - CAN Communication Interrupted

Error Code Explanation:
This error occurs when there is an interruption in the CAN communication line, typically when communication between master and slave PLCs is lost.

Causes and Solutions:

CAN Communication Interrupted (Slave Station Offline):
Detection Method: Check the indicator lights on the CAN communication card of the master PLC. If the ERR indicator on the master PLC is blinking at 1 Hz and the ERR indicator on some slave PLCs is constantly on, there is an error on the slave PLC.
Solution: Check the communication cable connections between the master and slave PLCs. Verify the baud rate of the slave PLC (H0C-08) and set it to match the master.

CAN Communication Interrupted (Master Station Offline):
Detection Method: If the ERR indicator on the master PLC's CAN communication card is constantly on, there is an issue with the master PLC. Additionally, the ERR indicators on all slave PLCs may also be constantly on.
Solution: Check the wiring of the master PLC and reconfigure it if necessary.

Important Notes:

Before starting the troubleshooting process, ensure that the master and slave PLCs are communicating correctly by checking the communication cables, baud rates, and configuration settings.
Inspect the communication lines for sources of high-frequency interference, and if necessary, re-arrange the wiring.

This error indicates an issue with the CAN communication line and can be resolved by following the steps outlined above.
