Er.950: Forward Limit Switch Warning
Fault Code Description: The forward limit switch (P-OT) has been triggered.
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Forward limit switch has been triggered:
- Detection Method: Check if a parameter has been set for FunIN14 (P-OT) in group H03. Verify if the logic of the relevant DI in H0B-03 (monitored DI states) is valid.
- Solution: Ensure safety, send a reverse reference to the motor, or rotate the motor to disable the forward limit switch terminal.
Summary: This fault indicates that the forward limit switch is active as a safety warning. To resolve it, the motor should be moved in the reverse direction.
Er.952: Reverse Limit Switch Warning
Fault Code Description: The reverse limit switch (N-OT) has been triggered.
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Reverse limit switch has been triggered:
- Detection Method: Check if a parameter has been set for FunIN15 (N-OT) in group H03. Verify if the logic of the relevant DI in H0B-03 (monitored DI states) is valid.
- Solution: Send a forward reference to the motor, or rotate the motor to disable the reverse limit switch terminal.
Summary: This fault indicates that the reverse limit switch is active as a safety warning. To resolve it, the motor should be moved forward.
Er.980: Encoder Internal Error
Fault Code Description: An internal error has occurred in the encoder.
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Internal encoder fault:
- Detection Method: If the error persists after turning the servo drive off and on several times, the encoder is faulty.
- Solution: Replace the servo motor to resolve the encoder fault.
Summary: This error occurs due to an internal fault in the encoder. If the error doesn't resolve after restarting, the motor must be replaced.
Er.990: Power Input Phase Loss Warning
Fault Code Description: When H0A-00 = 1, the three-phase servo drive (0.4–0.75 kW) can operate on two phases, but a warning is issued in this condition.
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Three-phase servo drive operating with two phases:
- Detection Method: Check whether the servo drive is three-phase and if only two phases are connected.
- Solution: Treat the issue like Er.420 if all three-phase cables are connected, or set H0A-00 to 0 for two-phase operation.
Summary: This warning occurs due to a phase loss condition similar to the Er.420 fault and requires checking the connection of phase cables.
Er.994: CAN Address Conflict
Fault Code Description: A CAN address conflict has occurred.
Possible Causes and Solutions:
CAN address conflict:
- Detection Method: Check if the H0C-00 (servo axis address) setting is repeated.
- Solution: Assign unique servo axis addresses to each servo and ensure no duplication in H0C-00.
Summary: This error occurs when the same CAN address is assigned multiple times within the system, causing communication issues.
Er.A33: Encoder Data Abnormal
Fault Code Description: The Er.A33 error indicates abnormalities in the encoder's internal parameters, which may stem from connection problems in the encoder cables or internal encoder malfunction.
Possible Causes and Solutions:
Encoder cable broken or loose:
- Detection Method: Check the encoder cable connections for incorrect wiring or poor contact.
- Solution: Connect the encoder cable properly or replace it. Separate the motor and encoder cables to avoid interference.
Summary: The Er.A33 error indicates a problem with the encoder's connection or internal parameters. Properly connecting the encoder cables and separating them from motor cables can help prevent the error. If the issue persists, the encoder may need to be replaced.
