inovance is500 servo manuals
IS500 Digital AC Servo Drive is a high-performance servo drive that supports multiple input methods such as differential drive, open collector, and high-precision AD input for analog instructions. It can handle maximum input pulse frequency of up to 4Mpps for "Direction +Pulse" pulse train and "CW/CCW pulse" pulse train, and up to 1Mpps for "Phase A/B orthogonal pulse" pulse train. The analog resolution can be up to 1/65536 and the standard configuration of IS500A series servo drive is 16bit analog resolution, while the standard configuration of IS500P series servo drive is 12bit analog resolution.
The overload factor for drives below IS500□T5R4 (included) and IS500□S012 (included) is 3 times, while for drives above IS500□T8R4 (included) and IS500□S018 (included) it is 2.5 times. The duty ratio refers to the time duty ratio that the servo system works in the corresponding load condition.
IS500 servo drives are available in different capacities ranging from 50W to 7500W. For ISMH/ISMV servo motor system, IS500 series servo drive can be used with capacity of 5.5kW to 132kW, for ISMG series servo motor system, IS550 series servo drive with capacity of 7.5kW to 55kW can be used, and for mid and high power servo drive requirements, IS560 series servo drive with a complete range of specifications (11w~55kw) is available.
The IS500 series servo drive offers a wide input voltage range for both the main circuit and control circuit, with a range of -15% to 10% of the rated voltage. The drive also features automatic identification of the motor inertia, which sets most of the parameters to an optimal state and greatly reduces tuning time.
The drive comes with built-in three groups of DC+24V power supply, each with a capacity of 200mA, which eliminates the need for external resistances when connecting a PC position command. The drive also has a built-in DC+5V and DC+24V power supply to drive optical couplers or external grating rulers, allowing for full closed-loop control.
The IS500 series servo drive has a full capacity range of 50W to 132KW, and does not require external transformers for any of the series. Servo systems below 1.5kW (inclusive) use AC 220V input voltage as the standard configuration and are compatible with both single-phase and three-phase 220V for the main circuit. Single-phase 220V is required for the control circuit. Servo systems above 1kW (inclusive) use AC 380V input voltage as the standard configuration and require three-phase AC 380V for both the main circuit and control circuit. By eliminating the need for a dry-type transformer, the IS500 series servo drive helps to reduce customer costs.
This function description seems to be related to a specific application of a servo drive rather than a general product description. It appears to describe how the servo drive can be used in a shearing process, where an external sensor feeds back signals of material speed and position to the drive, which calculates and sets the rotating speed of the shear motor and controls the shear unit to perform the operation. The drive has internal algorithms that can enable the shearing function and electronic cam-control and can realize three functions, including rotary cutting, flying shear, and flying saw. The speed of the shearing process must be consistent with the feeding speed within the synchronization zone, while the speed of the non-synchronization zone can be adjusted to match different requirements.
