Gemo Universal Controllers

This category covers Gemo UC series general-purpose controllers with analog inputs. Models such as the UC104 and UC107 can be used to measure, display and control process values from standard industrial analog signals.

Supported analog input signals

Depending on the model and configuration, the controller can be set for:

0–20 mA
4–20 mA
0–1 V
0–10 V

This makes the UC series suitable for use with transmitters and sensors that provide standard analog signals for pressure, level, temperature, flow and similar process measurements.

Main features of the Gemo UC series

Dual outputs: OUT and ALARM.
Control method: ON/OFF control.
Control direction: Direct or reverse operation can be selected.
Alarm functions: Relative, absolute or band alarm.
Scaling: User-defined lower and upper calibration values from -1999 to 4000.
Decimal point: Selectable to suit the displayed process value.
Offset adjustment: A correction value can be added to the measured signal.

Display: SET and PROCESS values can be viewed at the same time.
Lower display: Can be disabled when it is not required.
Parameter protection: Password-protected access helps prevent unwanted changes to settings.
Memory: Program and control parameters are retained when power is removed.
Connection: Plug-in terminals make wiring and replacement easier.

If a non-standard supply voltage or SSR output is required, please specify this when ordering.

Relay and SSR output options

Relay outputs are suitable for many standard control applications. Where faster switching or an external solid-state relay is required, an SSR-compatible output version may be more appropriate.

Output selection should be based on the load, switching frequency and the electrical input requirements of the equipment being controlled.

Choosing between UC104 and UC107

UC series models share the same general operating concept, but enclosure size, display arrangement, connections and available functions may differ between models. When replacing an existing controller, the front-panel appearance alone is not enough to confirm compatibility.
