Gemo Temperature, Timer and Profile Controllers

This category brings together Gemo controllers designed for temperature control, built-in timing and multi-step temperature profiles. The range includes TT series temperature + timer controllers and PC series temperature profile controllers for processes that need more than a simple fixed temperature setting.

OtomasyonAVM has been supplying Gemo products since 2013.

TT series – Temperature + Timer Controllers

The TT series combines temperature control with an internal timer function. The timer can be started according to the process temperature, allowing a heating process to continue for a defined period after the required temperature has been reached.

Selectable sensor inputs: T/C J, K, T, S, R and Pt100, depending on model.
Control modes: P, PI, PD, PID or ON/OFF.
Timer: Up to 99:59 hours on suitable models.
Alarm: Adjustable ALARM ON duration.
Display: SET and Process values can be monitored during operation.

PID and Auto-Tune

Selected models support PID control together with Auto-Tune, which helps determine suitable PID parameters from the behaviour of the process.

Anti-windup and overshoot-reduction functions are also available on suitable models to improve temperature-control stability.

SET limits: Upper and lower limits can be defined to prevent the temperature setting from being adjusted outside the required operating range.

PC series – Temperature Profile Controllers

PC series controllers are intended for processes where temperature needs to change automatically through several programmed stages.

Instead of holding one fixed temperature, the controller can run a sequence of temperature and time steps. Each step can have its own SET value and duration.

Maximum number of steps: 20.
Maximum step duration: 18 hours per step.
Control modes: P, PI, PD, PID or ON/OFF.
Alarm: Relative or absolute alarm selection.

During profile operation, SET value, Process value, active Step number and Remaining Time can be monitored from the controller.

Resume after a power interruption

On suitable profile models, the active step and remaining time can be stored when supply power is lost. When power returns, the controller can continue from the interrupted stage if the measured temperature is within the user-defined restart range.

Program and control parameters are also retained in memory.

Sensor and measurement functions

Thermocouple inputs use ambient-temperature compensation, while Pt100 inputs support line compensation for 3-wire connections.

Stored °C/mV and °C/Ω conversion tables are used for sensor curve correction, and an Offset value can be added to the measured process value when required.

Sensor fault detection: Suitable models can detect sensor disconnection, wiring faults or measurement values outside the selected input range.

Relay and SSR outputs

Standard versions can use relay outputs. In applications where PID control requires frequent switching, an SSR-compatible output may be more suitable.

If a 24 V supply or SSR output version is required, please specify this when ordering.

Choosing between TT and PC series

If the application mainly requires temperature control plus a timer, the TT series is usually the more suitable choice. If the process needs several programmed temperature and time stages, the PC series is the better fit.

Model selection should also take into account the sensor type, panel size, supply voltage, output arrangement and whether a relay or SSR output is required.

Control panel installation

These controllers can be used in industrial panels containing AC drives and speed controllers. Thermocouple and Pt100 wiring should be kept away from motor and inverter power cables where possible.
