The Derell Electronics DGZ 99 Series is an advanced serial timer relay that operates with a microprocessor-controlled control unit. It displays time and other functions on a 2x4 digit 7-segment LED display. This device has 9 different operating modes and options for hour/minute/second counting. It also has the ability to store the last time value in memory even in the event of a power failure. In addition, it has the possibility of connecting to 220VAc input and proximity sensor.

The device offers 9 different output functions, and there are a few important notes to consider. For example, for Mode 1, t.On and t.OFF values must be at least 000.1 seconds, 00.01 minutes, and 00.01 hours. In Modes 6 and 7, time counts forward, while in other modes, it counts backward. Time counting stops (freezes) when the GATE input is ON for all output functions.

When it comes to cleaning the device, solvents including alcohol, thinner, benzene, acid, etc., or abrasive cleaning agents, should not be used. Instead, the device should be cleaned with a dry, clean cloth. During cleaning, all electrical supplies to the device should be disconnected.

The output functions include the following modes:
Mode 4: ON delay and instant contact with ON
Mode 2: Pulse with ON and OFF
Mode 1: Flasher with START and RESET
Mode 6: Stopwatch with START and RESET
Mode 7: Stopwatch with START and STOP
Mode 5: Delayed pulse with OFF
Mode 0: Delay with START ON trigger and RESET
Mode 3: Delay with OFF

For Mode 4, when the START input is triggered, Out1 is ON, and after t.Set time, Out2 turns ON. When the START input is OFF, both Out1 and Out2 are OFF. When the RESET input is ON, both Out1 and Out2 are OFF.

For Mode 2, when the START input is triggered (OFF > ON), the output periodically turns ON for t.On time and then turns OFF for t.OFF time. When the RESET input is ON, both Out1 and Out2 are OFF.

For Mode 1, when the START input is triggered with START and RESET, the output flashes. When the time value exceeds t.Set, Out2 is ON, and when the START input is OFF, the display is reset. When the RESET input is ON, both Out1 and Out2 are OFF.

For Mode 6, when the START input is triggered, Out1 turns ON, and the stopwatch starts counting up. When the START input is OFF, the stopwatch stops, and the time value remains constant on the display. When the time value exceeds t.Set, Out2 turns ON, and when the START input is OFF, the display is reset. When the RESET input is ON, both Out1 and Out2 are OFF.

For Mode 7, when the START input is triggered, the stopwatch starts counting up, and when the time value exceeds t.Set, Out2 turns ON. When the RESET input is ON, both Out1 and Out2 are OFF.

Important note: The triggering signal for DGZ 99 Timer relays is AC 220v. While other models are 24vdc, DGZ 99 is 220volt AC. You should consider this when placing an order!

- It has a micro switch button and a maximum clamping torque of 0.5 N.m for its terminal connections.
- The device meets EN 61010-1 for safety standards for pollution degree 1 and measurement category I, and has an IP20 protection rating according to EN 60529 standards.
- The device can operate in a temperature range of 0-50°C and can be stored in a temperature range of -10°C to 60°C without freezing.
- The device meets the EMC standards of EN 61000-6-1 and EN 61000-6-3 for a light industrial environment.

They can respond to general-purpose time relay applications (delay on pull, delay on release, start-stop button operation, latching or momentary triggering, flasher operation types, etc.). They are very easy to use, and with their 2-row display, you can see both the set time and the counted active time simultaneously. It can work collectively with inductive, capacitive or photoelectric sensors as it produces its own DC supply. There is also an SSR output for use in places where extremely short work is required.
