The Derell DGZ 77 R-A electronic timer is a microprocessor-based time relay that can be operated with START / RESET / GATE inputs. It features a 2x4 7 segment LED display and 8 different operating modes. The device offers the option of counting in hours/minutes/seconds, and has the ability to store the last time value in memory with its output position feature in case of power loss (reserve function).

The device has a 24VDC input with the possibility of connecting proximity sensors. The set or remaining time values can be monitored on the digital display. It also has the ability to store program and control parameters in its memory. With its compact size of 72x72mm and socketed terminal, it provides easy installation and connection.

The input, display, and output features of the device are quite good. The 2x4 digit 7 segment display is easily readable, and the device can be operated with 3 x maximum 32VDC inputs. The GATE input allows for stopping the time count, while the output has 2 relays (NO-C-NC) and 2x open collector (NPN output) features. The time selection can be set to 99:59 hours / 99:59 minutes / 599.9 seconds, and the sensitivity can be adjusted to 1 minute / 1 second / 0.1 second with an accuracy of ±0.5% (Full Scale).

In addition, the output function can be set to 8 different types, and the sensor power output is 12VDC. The device's power supply voltage can be selected as 100-240VAC, 50-60Hz or 24Vac/dc. Its power consumption is less than 6VA, and it has IP20 protection class. The device has a working temperature range of 0 .. 50 oC and meets the EMC and safety standards for light industrial environments.

- It has a micro switch button and a maximum clamping torque of 0.5 N.m for its terminal connections.
- The device meets EN 61010-1 for safety standards for pollution degree 1 and measurement category I, and has an IP20 protection rating according to EN 60529 standards.
- The device can operate in a temperature range of 0-50°C and can be stored in a temperature range of -10°C to 60°C without freezing.
- The device meets the EMC standards of EN 61000-6-1 and EN 61000-6-3 for a light industrial environment.

They can respond to general-purpose time relay applications (delay on pull, delay on release, start-stop button operation, latching or momentary triggering, flasher operation types, etc.). They are very easy to use, and with their 2-row display, you can see both the set time and the counted active time simultaneously. It can work collectively with inductive, capacitive or photoelectric sensors as it produces its own DC supply. There is also an SSR output for use in places where extremely short work is required.
