The resistor models we display in this category are generally high wattage and open type resistors designed to be used with frequency inverters for machines that require high inertia and oscillation.

Please note that according to Kirchhoff's law, if resistors are connected in series, the ohmic values double and the wattage also doubles. If they are connected in parallel, the ohmic values halve and the wattage doubles (assuming both resistance values are the same).
For example, 2 pieces of 500 watt 100 ohm resistors are equivalent to 1 piece of 50 ohm 1 kW resistor (if connected in parallel). Or, 2 pieces of 500 watt 100 ohm resistors connected in series are equivalent to a 200 ohm 1 kW resistor.
