24 Volt AC/DC Positive/Negative Input Module (IC693MDL241)

This module provides 24-volt AC/DC inputs for the Alspa C80–35 PLC and offers 16 input points. So, you can connect up to 16 different inputs (like pushbuttons, limit switches, or proximity sensors) to this module. It works with both positive and negative logic inputs, meaning it doesn't matter if you're using AC or DC; it'll take signals from both.

Basic Idea: When current flows into an input, that input is registered as "1" in the PLC’s input table. If no current flows, it’s marked as "0."

There are LED indicators to show the ON/OFF status of each input point. These LEDs are located at the top of the module, arranged in two horizontal rows. The top row is labeled A1 to A8, and the bottom row is labeled B1 to B8.

When you open the module’s door, you’ll find wiring info on the inside, and you can jot down any circuit ID info on the outside. If the left edge of the insert is blue, that means it’s a low-voltage module.

Depending on the ambient temperature, the number of inputs that can be turned on at once may be limited

In short, this module works with all kinds of sensors and switches, making sure their signals are properly sent to the PLC.
