240 Volt AC Isolated Input, 8 Point - IC693MDL231
This module provides 8 isolated input points for 240 volt AC inputs for the Alspa C80–35 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Each input point has a common power input terminal. The input circuits are reactive (resistor/capacitor) circuits. When current flows into an input point, it registers as a logic 1 in the input status table (%I). The input characteristics are compatible with a wide range of user-supplied input devices, such as pushbuttons, limit switches, and electronic proximity switches. Power for the field devices must be supplied by the user. This module requires an AC power source and cannot be used with a DC power source.
LED indicators at the top of the module show the ON/OFF status of each input. The LED block features eight green LEDs, labeled A1 to A8 (representing points 1 to 8). There is an insert between the inside and outside surfaces of the hinged door. When the door is closed, the inside surface contains circuit wiring information, while the outside surface can be used to record circuit identification details. The left edge of the insert is color-coded red to indicate this is a high-voltage module.
This module can be installed in any I/O slot of a 5- or 10-slot baseplate in an Alspa C80–35 PLC system.
