The General Electric VAT200 mini AC drive features a standard LED four digit display and an optional multilanguage LCD keypad for operator control. The operator control functions include Start/Stop, Jog, Potentiometer, Forward/Reverse, and Speed Up/Down.
In addition to the operator control functions, the VAT200 also provides advanced programming and drive control through its built-in PLC function. The PLC function includes I/O control, ladder simulation, timers and counters, and function trip levels, providing users with a comprehensive solution for motor control and process control. This makes the VAT200 a versatile and powerful option for controlling and regulating the speed of AC standard motors.
VAT200 VFD it is a compact and advanced variable speed drive for AC standard motors with a range from 0.4 to 11kW. It has a built-in removable LED keypad and an optional multilanguage LCD keypad. The drive has a sensor-less vector control or V/f control, selectable, and is built-in with ModBus RTU communications and optional field bus communication DeviceNet, ProfibusDP.
The VAT200 has integrated EMC filters, dynamic braking, and simple PLC and PID functions. It has programming software for Windows and WinCE, 18 fixable patterns and 1 programmable pattern, and two-stage Acc./Dec. time and S curve. The drive has a 5 different functions, 28 different functions, and 15 different functions assigned, and NPN/PNP toggle.
The VAT200 also has features like momentary power loss restart, speed search, overload detection, torque detection, 8 preset speeds, and many others. The temperature range is from -10 to +50ºC, storage temperature from -20 to +60ºC, and relative humidity from 0 to 95%. The VAT200 complies with requirements like EN 61800-3 and EN 50178, and has a safety level of IP20 and UL 508C.
Finally, the VAT200 has inverse characteristic overload protection, electronic circuit protection, communication control, and several protective functions for overload, fuse protection, overvoltage, undervoltage, momentary power loss restart, stall prevention, short-circuit output terminal, grounding fault, and others.
The VAT200 supports V/f or sensorless vector control, has a frequency control range from 0.1 to 650.0Hz, and a display function with four digital LED or 2x16 LCD. The frequency setting can be set directly by keys or by potentiometer on the keypad.
