Compare the full model number, supply voltage, sensor input, output contacts and reset mode before choosing a unit. When selecting motor protection equipment, confirm that the relay accepts the type and characteristic of the existing PTC or NTC sensor.

Do not assume that a PTC input relay will accept an NTC sensor. See what a PTC sensor is for background information. Check contact ratings and wiring diagrams for the connected contactor or control relay. Applications requiring temperature regulation around a setpoint are covered separately under used temperature controllers. Similar appearance alone does not establish interchangeability.
