Buying and selling used through-beam sensors

Compare the used through-beam photoelectric sensors in this category by emitter-receiver compatibility, included components, sensing distance, supply voltage and output type. Sensing and electrical compatibility: The emitter and receiver are aligned facing each other; this differs from a retroreflective arrangement. Compare the smallest detectable object, target transparency and working distance against the model's specifications. Check switching frequency or response time against line speed. Verify the receiver's PNP/NPN or relay output, Light-ON/Dark-ON operation and pin assignment. Identical housings or branding do not establish that two units are compatible.

Physical condition and included equipment: Inspect optical surfaces for scratches, cracks and contamination, and check the housing and connections for damage. Ask whether connector cables, mounting brackets and any sensor accessories, such as aperture masks, are included. Establish whether testing used a compatible emitter-receiver pair, and at what distance and with which target.

Buying and item condition: Browse the product pages in this category for available items. Your seller is the store identified on the product page; confirm price, stock, delivery and specifications with that store. Used, unused, boxed, repaired, faulty and parts-only items must be clearly distinguished, with known faults and missing accessories disclosed. Test scope, any warranty terms and declarations of conformity with standards are those stated in the selling store's product description. Boxed or unused equipment does not automatically come with a warranty.
