Buying and selling used digital I/O modules

Compare the used modules combining digital inputs and outputs in this category by PLC series, input/output channel count, input voltage, output type and load capacity. Browse the product pages to buy. For the basics, see PLC input and output modules.

Electrical compatibility: Verify the AC/DC input voltage, PNP/NPN sensor compatibility and common-terminal wiring. Relay, transistor or triac outputs must suit the load. Check per-channel current, total group current and load type together. Identical channel counts or similar connectors do not establish interchangeability.

Series compatibility, hardware and testing: Check the complete order code, hardware revision and any firmware version against CPU or remote I/O adapter support. For remote I/O systems, also verify station and backplane-bus compatibility. Ask whether front connectors, terminal blocks, jumpers and mounting parts are included. Establish which input and output channels were tested, using which supply and load.

Selling store and item condition: Your seller is the store identified on the product page; confirm price, stock, delivery and specifications with that store. Used, unused, boxed, repaired, faulty and parts-only items must be clearly distinguished, with known faults and missing accessories disclosed. Test scope, any warranty terms and declarations of conformity with standards are those stated in the selling store's product description. Boxed or unused equipment does not automatically come with a warranty.
