HCFA PLC, TX2N-4AD Analog input block is a high-precision analog input block designed for measuring and controlling sensitive analog signals in PLC systems. It has the following features:

Provides resolution of 11 bits and 1 sign bit (for voltage), 10 bits and 1 sign bit (for current) for high accuracy.
The analog input can select the voltage or current input mode.
It has 4 input channels for voltage (010V DC) or current(-2020mA DC).

The analog input range can measure 010V DC, 05V DC (input resistance 200kΩ), or 4~20mA DC (input resistance 250Ω). However, an input voltage exceeding ±15V can damage the block. Similarly, an input current exceeding ±32mA can also damage the block.

The outputs of the TX2N-4AD analog input block have a resolution of 11 bits and 1 sign bit (1 bit) or 10 bits and 1 sign bit (1 bit). The resolution can vary between 5mV (10V x 1/2000) and 20μA (20mA x 1/1000).

The TX2N-4AD analog input block has an integrated accuracy of ±1% for the range of -10V to +10V and ±1% for the range of -20mA to +20mA. The conversion time can vary between 15ms/1 channel (Normal speed) and 6ms/channel (High speed).

To isolate the analog input area from the PLC, the TX2N-4AD analog input block uses photocouplers, and a DC/DC converter is used to isolate the power supply from the analog input area. However, the channels are not isolated from each other.

The TX2N-4AD analog input block occupies 8 input or output points and is suitable for LX1N/HCA2/HCA8/HCA8C/HCA2C PLCs. However, conversion blocks may be required.
