Toshiba VF-PS1 Fault codes 4
EPH1: Input Phase Error
A phase error has occurred in the main circuit input line.
Solution: Check the main circuit input line for phase errors.
Err2: Main Unit RAM Error
The control RAM is faulty.
Solution: Call for service.
Err3: Main Unit ROM Error
The control ROM is faulty.
Solution: Call for service.
Err4: CPU Error
The control CPU is faulty.
Solution: Call for service.
Err5: Communication Timeout Error
Normal communication could not be established for a certain period.
Solution: Check the remote control device, cables, etc.
Err6: Gateway Series Error
The main gateway is faulty.
Solution: Call for service.
Err7: Output Current Sensor Error
The main output current sensor is faulty.
Solution: Call for service.
Err8: Optional Unit Error
One of the optional devices (such as a communication device) is faulty.
Solutions: Check the connection of the optional card(s). Refer to the relevant instructions and try to resolve the issue (Section 6.36).
Etn: Auto-tuning Error
The capacity of the connected motor is 2 levels or more smaller than the inverter capacity.
The connected motor is not a three-phase inductive motor.
Tuning was performed while the motor was running.
Solutions:
Ensure a motor is connected.
Ensure the motor is stopped.
Perform auto-tuning again, and if the error persists, perform manual tuning.
Etn1 (F410): F410 Tuning Error
Tuning could not be performed for the torque boost specified by F410.
The capacity of the connected motor is 2 levels or more smaller than the inverter capacity.
The connected motor is not a three-phase inductive motor.
Tuning was performed without a motor connected.
The cables connecting the inverter and the motor are too long (over 30m).
Tuning was performed while the motor was running.
Solutions:
Ensure a motor is connected.
Ensure the motor is stopped.
Perform auto-tuning again, and if the error persists, perform manual tuning.
Etn2 (F412): F412 Tuning Error
Tuning could not be performed for the leakage inductance specified by F412.
Etn3: Motor Constant Setting Error
Some elements from the motor nameplate have been entered incorrectly:
Base frequency (UL)
Base frequency voltage (UU)
Motor rated capacity (F405)
Motor rated current (F406)
Motor rated speed (F407)
Solution: Ensure all elements from the motor nameplate are entered correctly.
EtyP: Inverter Type Error
Has the circuit board (or the main circuit/driver circuit board) been replaced? Solution: If the board has been replaced, enter 6 for the tYP parameter.
E-10: Analog Input Terminal Overvoltage
Overvoltage has been applied to the analog input. Solution: Apply voltage within the specified limits.
