The Omron SYSDRIVE 3g3PV series of variable frequency drives (VFDs) are designed for use with fans, blowers, and pumps. They come in two voltage classes, 200V and 400V, with maximum motor capacities ranging from 0.4 to 160 kW. The VFDs are equipped with a variety of advanced control functions, including automatic voltage regulation, automatic torque boost, automatic restart after power failure, automatic carrier frequency adjustment, and automatic slip compensation. They also have built-in protection functions, such as overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overload, and overheat protection.
The SYSDRIVE PV series VFDs have input/output terminals that can be configured for sinking or sourcing mode, allowing for flexibility in signal input methods. They also have a digital operator with keys that allow for switching between local and remote operation, as well as other functions such as parameter copy and control.
The VFDs have an energy-saving function which can be adjusted to the application for optimal operation, and they are designed to estimate the load by detecting supply current to the motor and decrease supply voltage to the motor automatically to optimize the energy efficiency of the VFD.
The VFDs also have a variety of functions that allow for the monitoring of the operating conditions, such as running signal, zero speed, and fault output signals. Additionally, the VFDs are equipped with multi-function analog inputs and outputs, RS-485/422 communications ports, and support for external power supplies.
