About The Omron SYSDRIVE 3G3HV Series VFD;
The Omron SYSDRIVE 3G3HV Series VFD is a high-capacity, general-purpose inverter designed for ease of use and equipment protection. It features simple operations that can be used by anyone, special indicators for basic parameter constants, and an energy-saving control mode.
The special indicators provided for parameters such as frequency settings and acceleration/deceleration times make it easy to operate the inverter. Additionally, the energy-saving control mode detects the current to the motor, estimates the load, and automatically lowers the voltage to the most efficient level, reducing power consumption and achieving energy savings.
The 3G3HV also includes a PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) control function which makes it easy to operate motors at their highest efficiency. This feature can be used for example to realize the optimum air flow control for devices such as fan pumps.
The 3G3HV series is available in 12 models of the 200-V class from 3.7 kW to 75 kW and 17 models of the 400-V class from 3.7 kW to 300 kW. These include enclosed wall-mounted type and open chassis type options. The 3G3HV is suitable for various applications such as conveyor control, where production efficiency can be improved by finding the optimum conveyer speed control for particular objects, and pumps, where more efficient current control saves energy compared to controlling the amount of current by adjusting valves.
In addition, the 3G3HV has a soft start/stop function which can be used as required to prevent damage to loads and to ensure safe operation and consistent quality.
The speed search function of the 3G3HV allows it to continue operation even during momentary power interruptions, eliminating problems caused by motor stoppage. This makes the 3G3HV series VFD a suitable choice for use in a variety of industrial applications such as conveyors, pumps, and other equipment where high-capacity, general-purpose inverter is needed and ease of use is important.
