M30 connector type PNP NC

Hi,
Our website offers a wide range of inductive and various other types of sensors.
Our metric 30 PNP (positive output +) metal-sensitive NC normally closed inductive sensor models, with wired and connector options, are listed below. These sensors are designed to cut off their output when metal is detected and provide output when nothing is detected.
Before selecting an inductive sensor, we recommend considering the following:
- Supply voltage (AC/DC) 2 wire ac sensors >
- Mounting dimensions (metric mm or square)
- Detection range (in mm)
- Mechanical structure (short/long body, flat or protruding head)
- Output type (NPN/PNP)
- Contact type (NC/NO open/closed)
- Wired or connector cable system
- Operating frequency (Our sensors operate at 2 kHz and we do not offer low-frequency inductive sensors. They can be used in applications such as counters, tachometers, PLCs, etc.)
Note: Physical similarity of sensors does not carry any meaning. Each product code includes codes that specify the properties listed above.
Should I choose NPN or PNP output sensor?
As you can see, our website offers more NPN sensors. This is because NPN (- output signal) sensors are more compatible with field conditions. We also prefer NPN sensor models in our own projects. They work more reliably, especially in devices such as PLCs and counters/tachometers, with regards to noise. When selecting a sensor, we recommend considering the connection diagram and detection range.
Note 2: In addition to properties such as size and output type, the head type of the sensors also varies. The same sensor can be found with both flat and protruding heads at the same distance.
Flat head sensors should be used for the clearest and most reliable detection. This is because the body is already metal and it is only sensitive to the metal in front of it. Therefore, it cannot detect any unintended materials from other directions. We generally use flat head models in our own projects.
Protruding head sensors can detect both objects in front of them and metal objects in their neck. However, the structure of the mounting area is also effective.
For those who have time, what is an inductive sensor? What are the other types of sensors that might be useful to you?
Dear visitor, like all our products on our website, our inductive sensors are designed for professional purposes in the industrial automation sector. They can work in the same environment with devices such as frequency inverters, power supplies, and induction motors that may generate possible electrical noise, thanks to their galvanic isolation and high switching speed. (Do not confuse them with economic series sensors.)
Note: Wired model sensors are only sold with the original cable size. If you need a longer cable, please refer to the product descriptions carefully.
In the case of connector-type inductive sensors, you need to purchase the connector cable separately along with the sensor.
Please contact us for a sensor price list. Thank you.
