Important note: As you can see, there are more NPN sensors available on our website. This is because NPN (- output signal) sensors are more compatible with field conditions. We also tend to choose NPN sensor models for our own projects, especially in PLCs and devices such as counters and tachometers where they work more reliably than PNP sensors in terms of parasitic effects. When selecting a sensor, please consider the wiring diagram and detection distance.

 
Note 2: In addition to the size and output type, the head type of proximity sensors can also vary. The same sensor can have both flat and protruding head models at the same distance.

Flat-headed sensors: This model should be used for the clearest and most reliable detection. Because the body is already metal and only sensitive to metal in front of it, it cannot see unwanted materials from other directions. (We generally use flat-headed models in our projects.)

Protruding head sensors: These types of inductive sensor models can detect both objects in front of them and metal objects in the neck area. Of course, the structure of the application in the mounting area is also effective.

   As with all of the products on our website, our inductive sensors are designed for professional purposes in the industrial automation sector. They have galvanic isolation and high switching speed, enabling them to work alongside potential electrical noise-producing devices in the same environment, such as frequency inverters, power supplies, and induction motors. (Do not confuse them with economical series sensors.)
