The H2U Right extension blocks include the H2U-2AD Analog input block, which is a high-accuracy analog input block with 12-bit resolution. It has two input channels that can be used for either voltage (0-10V DC or 0-5V DC) or current (4-20mA DC) signals.
The voltage and current inputs can be mixed, and the two channels have the same input characteristics. The digital resolution is 12-bit binary, with a resolution of 2.5mV for voltage inputs and 4μA for current inputs. The integrated accuracy is ±1% for full-scale inputs.
The conversion time for each channel is 2.5ms, and the analog input area is insulated from the PLC using photocouplers. The power supply is also isolated from the analog input area using a DC/DC converter. The channels, however, are not insulated from each other.
The H2U-2AD Analog input block can be powered by either DC5V/20mA (internal power from the main unit) or DC24V/50mA (internal power from the main unit). The block occupies 8 input or output points (which can be either inputs or outputs) and requires conversion blocks for use with the H2U PLC.
