Mounting and Technical Information

Mechanical mounting dimensions, shaft construction, cable connections and output signal characteristics are shown in the product images. About the Product

DERELL DU Series incremental rotary encoders are developed for stable, long-term operation in industrial automation systems. Their galvanically isolated electronic design helps provide reliable signal transmission in applications containing AC motor drives, switch-mode power supplies, electric motors and high-power thyristor systems that may generate electromagnetic interference.

The cast aluminum housing, stainless steel shaft and shielded connection cable provide mechanical and electrical durability in environments exposed to vibration, dust and high levels of electrical equipment.

The A, B and Z phase outputs allow PLCs, high-speed counters, tachometers and control boards to detect rotation direction, rotational speed, position, length and reference point information.

DERELL DU Series rotary encoders are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects. Warranty evaluation is subject to the product being operated within its specified technical limits and not being exposed to incorrect mechanical installation or electrical connection.
