Unidrive SP Fault codes 1
OI.AC Instantaneous output over-current detected: output current greater than 225%
Acceleration/deceleration rate might be too short.
If seen during autotune, reduce the voltage boost (Pr 5.15).
Check for short circuits in the output cabling.
Check the integrity of the motor insulation.
Check the feedback device wiring.
Check the mechanical coupling of the feedback device.
Check if feedback signals are free from noise.
Ensure that the motor cable length is within the limits for this frame size.
Reduce the speed loop gain parameters – Pr 3.10, Pr 3.11, and Pr 3.12 (for servo modes only).
Has the offset measurement test been completed? (for servo mode only).
Reduce the current loop gain parameters – Pr 4.13 and Pr 4.14 (for closed-loop vector and servo modes).
br.th Internal braking resistor thermistor temperature monitoring failure (size 0 only)
If no internal braking resistor is installed, set Pr 0.51 (or Pr 10.37) to 8 to disable this trip.
If an internal braking resistor is installed:
Ensure that the internal braking resistor thermistor is connected correctly.
Ensure that the fan in the drive is working correctly.
Replace the internal braking resistor.
C.Acc SMARTCARD fault: SMARTCARD Read/Write fail
Ensure the SMARTCARD is properly installed.
Ensure the SMARTCARD is not writing to data locations 500 to 999.
Replace the SMARTCARD.
C.boot SMARTCARD fault: Menu 0 parameter cannot be saved to SMARTCARD
A write to a Menu 0 parameter was initiated via the keypad with Pr 11.42 set to auto (3) or boot (4), but the required file on the SMARTCARD was not created.
Ensure that Pr 11.42 is correctly set and reset the drive to create the required file on the SMARTCARD.
Retry the parameter write to Menu 0.
C.bUSY SMARTCARD fault: SMARTCARD is being accessed by a Solutions Module
Wait for the Solutions Module to finish accessing the SMARTCARD, then retry the required function.
C.Chg SMARTCARD fault: Data location already contains data
Erase the data in the location.
Write data to an alternative location.
C.cPr SMARTCARD fault: The values stored in the drive differ from the values in the data block on the SMARTCARD
Press the red reset button.
C.dAt SMARTCARD fault: Specified data location contains no data
Ensure the data block number is correct.
C.Err SMARTCARD fault: SMARTCARD data is corrupted
Ensure the SMARTCARD is properly installed.
Erase the data and retry.
Replace the SMARTCARD.
C.Full SMARTCARD fault: SMARTCARD is full
Delete a data block or use a different SMARTCARD.
cL2 Analog input 2 current loss (current mode)
Check that the current signal on analog input 2 (terminal 7) is present (4-20mA, 20-4mA).
cL3 Analog input 3 current loss (current mode)
Check that the current signal on analog input 3 (terminal 8) is present (4-20mA, 20-4mA).
CL.bit Trip triggered from the control word (Pr 6.42)
Disable the control word by setting Pr 6.43 to 0 or check the setting of Pr 6.42.
ConF.P Number of power modules installed no longer matches the value stored in Pr 11.35
Ensure that all power modules are properly connected.
Ensure that all power modules are functioning correctly.
Ensure that the value in Pr 11.35 matches the number of connected power modules.
C.OPtn SMARTCARD fault: Solutions Modules installed are different between source drive and destination drive
Ensure the correct Solutions Modules are installed.
Ensure the Solutions Modules are in the same slots.
Press the red reset button.
C.Prod SMARTCARD fault: Data blocks on the SMARTCARD are not compatible with this product
Set Pr xx.00 to 9999 to erase all data on the SMARTCARD, then press the red reset button.
Replace the SMARTCARD.
C.rdo SMARTCARD fault: SMARTCARD is set to read-only
Enter 9777 in Pr xx.00 to allow read/write access to the SMARTCARD.
Ensure the drive is not writing to data locations 500 to 999 on the card.
C.rtg SMARTCARD fault: Voltage and/or current ratings of source and destination drives are different
Drive rating-dependent parameters (parameters with RA coding) are likely to have different values and ranges for drives with different voltage and current ratings. Parameters with this attribute will not be transferred when the ratings differ, unless the software is version V01.09.00 or later, in which case only current rating differences are allowed for transfers.
Press the red reset button.
Drive rating-dependent parameters will be set to their default values.
C.TyP SMARTCARD fault: SMARTCARD parameter set is not compatible with the drive
Press the reset button.
Ensure that the destination drive type matches the drive type in the source parameter file.
