The DERELL Counter is a next-generation industrial counter that features a 48x48 mm size with two rows of 7-segment displays and a 220V AC/DC power supply input. The product image includes panel cutting dimensions and connection diagrams.

It has three digital inputs with special segments for fast counters and can also be used as an encoder reader device. It has one relay output and one electronic output for an SSR. The device can count at a rate of 10 kHz and supports 10 input counting types and 10 output types.

It can store the last count value in memory in case of power failure, and can add a fixed OFFSET for distance measurement applications. It has a panel button to reset the current value and can reduce frequency for mechanical switch connections to obtain accurate results.

You can order rotary encoders and other related products online, and this digital counter can be used to read them. The DGC-44-RS-A model has a compact design and can be easily mounted on a panel or installed in a machine environment. It can also be used as a digital sensor reader to measure and display various types of inputs, such as speed, position, or flow rate.

Overall, the DGC-44-RS-A is a versatile device that can be used for various applications that require counting, measuring, or displaying values.

It supports NPN and PNP sensor types as well as encoders. You can connect all commonly used inductive and photoelectric digital sensors, as well as those that produce square wave, sawtooth signals, open collectors or incremental encoders. It can also count in both directions for encoders.

The device has a built-in regulated power supply output for encoders or sensors that need it. (see product image)

This counter operates on 24V AC/DC power supply and the smaller model is DGC-37-R-A (still in testing phase), while the 6-digit model is DGC-446-RS-A (also in testing phase). There is also a larger version with 4 digits, DGC-77-RS-A, and a 6-digit version, DGC-776-RS-A.

Note that the DGC series only has a counter function and does not include timer relay or tachometer features. This model does not have modbus or PC support, but if you require such features, you should check out the DGG series.

This product is designed for industrial machine environments and is galvanically isolated to work alongside power supplies, frequency inverters, and other products with high parasitic effects.

Editor's note: Dear friends, I can say that this device is the most widely sold (48x48) counter model in the market. I have personally used hundreds of them for at least 15 years. Since all the problems we used to encounter (such as screen shutdown and sensor power output) have been resolved, this product has become very reliable and we have had almost no returns due to malfunctions in the past 4 years.

It has one relay output and one SSR output. Unfortunately, in these versions, the relay and SSR work in parallel. However, since the SSR output is generally not used frequently, I have found that this is not usually a problem.

If you need a single-output counter for your application, you can buy it with peace of mind because the price is very reasonable (in my personal opinion).
