2 Wire Capacitive sensors
Hi,
These sensors have a simpler structure and are easier to install compared to 3-wire capacitive sensors. 2-wire capacitive sensors only use one signal line and one ground line. (what is 2 wire sensor?)
Some models of 2-wire capacitive sensors include:
Proximity 2-wire capacitive sensors: These sensors are used to detect the proximity of objects. They can detect not only metal objects but also other types of objects.
Capacitive touch sensors: These sensors are designed for use in touchscreens. The 2-wire structure allows for a simpler installation of the screen.
Capacitive button sensors: These sensors are designed for use in buttons. The 2-wire structure allows for a simpler installation of the buttons.
The advantages of 2-wire capacitive sensors include a simpler installation process, less wiring, and lower costs. However, they may be less sensitive and offer less functionality compared to 3-wire capacitive sensors. Therefore, the choice between 2-wire or 3-wire capacitive sensors may vary depending on the requirements of the application.
