Hi everyone,
Error Code 0046: FB MAPPING FILE (0x6306)
Cause: Drive internal error.
What to Do: Contact your local ABB representative.
Error Code 0047: MOTOR OVERTEMP (0x4310)
Cause: Estimated motor temperature (based on the motor thermal model) has exceeded the error limit defined by parameter 31.04 Mot temp1 fltLim.
What to Do:
Check the motor ratings and load.
Allow the motor to cool down: Check the cooling fan, clean the cooling surfaces, etc.
Check the alarm limit value.
Check the motor thermal model settings (parameters 31.09…31.14).
Error Code 0049: AI SUPERVISION (0x8110)
Cause: An analog input has exceeded the limit defined by parameter 13.33 AI superv cw.
What to Do:
Check the analog input source and connections.
Check the minimum and maximum limit settings of the analog input.
Error Code 0052: D2D CONFIG (0x7583)
Cause: Drive-to-drive communication configuration failed for reasons other than those specified by alarm A-2042, such as not receiving an initiation inhibition despite it being requested.
What to Do: Contact your local ABB representative.
Error Code 0053: D2D COMM (0x7520)
Cause: The master drive did not receive a response from an enabled follower in five consecutive polling cycles.
What to Do:
Ensure that all drives in the drive-to-drive communication (parameters 57.04 Follower mask 1 and 57.05 Follower mask 2) are powered, properly connected, and have the correct node address.
+ Check the drive-to-drive communication cables.
+ In the follower drive: The drive did not receive new reference 1 and/or 2 in five consecutive reference processing cycles.
- Check the settings of parameters 57.06 Ref 1 src and 57.07 Ref 2 src in the master drive.
- Check the drive-to-drive communication cables.
Error Code 0054: D2D BUF OVLOAD (0x7520)
Cause: Transmission of drive-to-drive references failed due to message buffer overflow.
What to Do: Contact your local ABB representative.
Error Code 0055: TECH LIB (0x6382)
Cause: A resettable error generated by a technology library.
What to Do: Refer to the documentation of the technology library.
Error Code 0056: TECH LIB CRITICAL (0x6382)
Cause: A permanent error generated by a technology library.
What to Do: Refer to the documentation of the technology library.
Error Code 0057: FORCED TRIP (0xFF90)
Cause: General Drive Communication Profile trip command.
What to Do: Check the PLC status.
Error Code 0058: FB PAR ERROR (0x6320)
Cause: The drive does not have the functionality requested by the PLC or the requested functionality is not enabled.
What to Do:
Check the PLC programming.
Check the parameter group 50 Fieldbus settings.
Error Code 0059: STALL (0x7121)
Cause: The motor is operating in the stall region, for example, due to overload or insufficient motor power.
What to Do:
Check the motor load and drive ratings.
Check the error function parameters.
Error Code 0060: LOAD CURVE (0x2312)
Cause: Overload or underload limit exceeded.
What to Do:
Check the settings of group 34 User load curve parameters.
Error Code 0062: D2D SLOT COMM (0x7584)
Cause: A FMBA module is set to be used for drive-to-drive communication, but the module is not detected in the specified slot.
What to Do:
Check the settings of parameters 57.01 and 57.15. Ensure the FMBA module is detected with parameters 09.20…09.21.
Check that the FMBA module is properly connected.
Try inserting the FMBA module into another slot. If the problem persists, contact your local ABB representative.
Error Code 0063: MOTOR TEMP2 (0x4313)
Cause: Estimated motor temperature, based on the motor thermal model, has exceeded the error limit defined by parameter 31.08 Mot temp2 fltLim.
What to Do:
Check the motor ratings and load.
Allow the motor to cool down: Check the cooling fan, clean the cooling surfaces, etc.
Check the alarm limit value.
Check the motor thermal model settings (parameters 31.09…31.14).
Error Code 0064: IGBT OVERLOAD (0x5482)
Cause: The temperature from the IGBT junction to the case is excessively high. This error is designed to protect the IGBTs and can be triggered in cases such as a short circuit in the motor cable.
What to Do:
Inspect the motor cable for any signs of damage, wear, or short circuits.
Evaluate other potential issues that could cause IGBT overload, such as high current transitions in the system or improper operating conditions.
Check the cooling and ventilation status of the system; ensure the IGBT modules and surrounding area are adequately cooled.
If the problem persists or if a serious issue like a short circuit is detected, contact your local ABB representative for safe and correct intervention.
Error Code 0065: IGBT TEMP (0x4210)
Cause: Drive IGBT temperature is excessive. The fault trip limit is 100%.
What to Do:
Check environmental conditions.
Check air flow and fan operation.
Check for dust accumulation on the cooling fins.
Compare the motor power with the drive power.
Error Code 0066: COOLING (0x4290)
Cause: The drive module temperature is excessive.
What to Do:
Check the ambient temperature. If it exceeds 40 °C (104 °F), ensure the load current does not exceed the drive's rated load capacity. Refer to the relevant Hardware Manual.
Check the cooling airflow and fan operation for the drive module.
Check and clean the inside of the cabinet and the cooling fins of the drive module if necessary.
Error Codes 0201-0208: T2, T3, T4, T5, A1, A2, A1 INIT, and A2 INIT OVERLOAD
Cause: Overload or errors related to software timing levels and application task creation.
What to Do: These errors cannot be reset. Contact your local ABB representative to identify the source of the problem and obtain information on solutions.
Error Code 0209: STACK ERROR (0x6100)
Cause: Drive internal error.
What to Do: This error cannot be reset. Contact your local ABB representative.
Error Code 0210: FPGA ERROR (0xFF61)
Cause: Drive internal error.
What to Do: This error cannot be reset. Contact your local ABB representative.
Error Codes 0301: UFF FILE READ (0x6300) and 0302: APPL DIR CREATION (0x6100)
Cause: File read error and drive internal error.
What to Do: These errors cannot be reset. Contact your local ABB representative.
General Recommendations for Errors 0303-0317:
What to Do: Most of these errors stem from serious issues with the software or hardware inside the drive and cannot be reset. When encountering such errors, the first step is usually to contact your local ABB representative and report the problem. The ABB representative can help identify the source of the problem and provide guidance on solutions.
Special Cases and Recommendations:
0308 & 0309: APPLFILE PAR / APPL LOADING (0x6300): Application file is corrupted. Try reloading the application. If the error persists, contact your local ABB representative for further support.
0310: USERSET LOAD (0xFF69): User setting could not be loaded successfully because the requested user setting is not present, not compatible with the drive program, or the drive was turned off during loading. Try reloading the user setting.
0311: USERSET SAVE (0xFF69): User setting could not be saved due to memory corruption. Check the parameter 95.01 Ctrl boardSupply setting. If the error continues, contact your local ABB representative.
0316: DAPS MISMATCH (0x5484): Mismatch between JCU Control Unit software and power unit logic versions. Such version mismatch can occur during updates or when replacing spare parts. Contact your local ABB representative to resolve the issue.
0317: SOLUTION FAULT (0x6200): Error generated by a function block in the solution program. Check the use of the SOLUTION_FAULT block in the solution program.
Error Code 0318: MENU HIDING (TBA)
Cause: Menu hiding file is missing or corrupted.
What to Do:
Try reloading the application.
Contact your local ABB representative for further support.
Error Code 0401: PIPEFILL TOUT (TBA)
Cause: The maximum allowed time for the pipefill function has been exceeded.
What to Do:
Check the pump system.
Check parameters 81.28….81.35.
Error Code 0402: MIN FLOW (TBA)
Cause: The measured flow is below the minimum limit.
What to Do:
Check the pump system for leaks or other issues that could cause a loss of measured flow.
Check parameters 81.18….81.24.
Error Code 0403: MAX FLOW (TBA)
Cause: The measured flow is above the maximum limit.
What to Do:
Check for conditions that could cause an increase in measured flow.
Check parameters 81.18….81.24.
Error Codes 0404 & 0406: LOW PRESSURE & VERY LOW PRESS (TBA)
Cause: The pressure at the pump inlet is too low.
What to Do:
Check if there is a closed valve on the pump inlet side.
Check the pipes for leaks.
Error Codes 0405 & 0407: HIGH PRESSURE & VERY HIGH PRESS (TBA)
Cause: The pressure at the pump outlet is too high.
What to Do: Check the pipes for blockages.
Error Code 0408: MAX CLEANINGS (TBA)
Cause: The maximum number of cleaning sequences has been exceeded.
What to Do:
Check for reasons that could cause an increase in the monitored signal (parameter 82.09). For example, an increase in the fluid's viscosity or failure of the pump bearings could increase the current drawn from the motor and trigger the cleaning sequence more frequently.
