IC693SLP300
IC693SLP300 State Logic Processor Module (SLP)
Overview: The IC693SLP300 is installed in a Series 90-30 PLC system to provide real-time, multi-tasking control for machines and processes. It can perform tasks such as data acquisition, communication, operator interface, and even simulate machine or process functions. This allows users to develop ladder logic and state logic programs simultaneously for efficient processing.
Key Features:
• Programming: Uses English Control Language Programming System (ECLiPS) software.
• Inputs/Outputs: Supports up to 52 inputs and 52 outputs.
• Advanced Diagnostics & Simulation: Helps reduce debugging and startup times.
• Memory: 46 Kbytes of battery-backed CMOS memory.
• Processor: 8 MHz 80C188 microprocessor.
• Ports: Includes one RS-422/RS-485 port and one RS-232 serial port.
• PID Loop Control & Complex Math: Supports floating-point calculations, square root, and trigonometric functions.
Installation: Before installation, ensure the system's power is off and refer to the State Logic Processor User’s Guide for detailed instructions. Once installed, the OK LED will blink during startup diagnostics and stay on during normal operation. The module occupies a single slot in the Series 90-30 rack and communicates with the PLC CPU via the backplane.
Battery & Memory Retention: The SLP has a lithium battery (IC697ACC300), which provides memory retention for up to 6 months without power. Make sure to replace the battery before it runs out, as indicated by the programming software.
Cable Information: For applications that use both serial ports, the IC693CBL305 Wye-type cable can be used to split connections. This cable is not required if only one port is being used.
Caution: If you press and hold the reset pushbutton for more than 5 seconds, the module will reinitialize, and the user program will need to be reloaded.
