IC693MDL940 Relay Output Module
The IC693MDL940 Relay Output Module provides 16 normally-open (N.O.) relay outputs, each capable of switching up to 2 amps. The outputs are organized into four groups of four points each, with a common power terminal for each group. This module is ideal for controlling a variety of devices like motor starters, solenoids, and indicators. However, the AC or DC power required to operate the field devices must be supplied by the user, as the module itself does not include fuses.
At the top of the module, there are LED indicators that display the ON/OFF status of each output. The LEDs are arranged in two horizontal rows: the top row labeled A1 to A8 (points 1 through 8) and the bottom row labeled B1 to B8 (points 9 through 16). Inside the hinged door, there is an insert with circuit wiring information, and you can write down any notes on the outside surface. The left edge of the insert is red, indicating that this is a high-voltage module. The IC693MDL940 can be installed in any I/O slot of a 5-slot or 10-slot baseplate in a Series 90-30 PLC system.
