IC693MDL310
120 Volt AC Output Module - 0.5 Amp, 12 Points (IC693MDL310)
This device is a 120 Volt AC Output module, providing a total of 12 output points. However, these points are not all in one group; they are divided into two groups, each with 6 outputs. The common lines of these groups are independent, meaning they are not connected internally. This allows you to connect the groups to different AC phases or use the same power supply for both, depending on what you need.
For safety, each group is protected by a 3-amp fuse. Additionally, an "RC snubber" protection circuit is included to prevent unwanted electrical noise between the outputs. This circuit helps eliminate transient disturbances that can occur on electrical lines.
One of the biggest advantages of this module is its resistance to inrush currents. In other words, it can handle very high currents during startup (up to 10 times more than the normal current). This is especially useful for inductive loads like motors or for lamps.
The module operates based on the power supply you connect to your devices, meaning you need to supply the AC power externally. Also, on the top side of the module, there are LED lights that indicate whether each output is ON or OFF. These LEDs are arranged in two horizontal rows, with 8 green LEDs in each row. The top row LEDs are labeled "A1" to "A6", while the bottom row LEDs are labeled "B1" to "B6". There's also a red LED labeled "F" that lights up if a fuse blows.
This module can be installed in the Alspa C80–35 PLC system, in any 5-slot or 10-slot baseplate. But be careful, although this module appears to have 16 outputs, only outputs 1 to 6 and 9 to 14 can actually be used. For example, if your starting reference is Q0017, only Q17-Q22 and Q25-Q30 will be active.
