Buying and selling used level sensors

When selecting used level sensors in this category, first establish whether the application involves liquids or bulk solids and requires point level detection or continuous level measurement. Compare radar, ultrasonic, hydrostatic, float, capacitive and optical models by measuring range, supply voltage, output type and process connection.

Application and electrical compatibility: Check wetted materials, temperature and pressure limits, and the liquid's chemical properties or the characteristics of the bulk solid. For non-contact models, check mounting distance and the blocking distance; for hydrostatic measurement, consider liquid density and the pressure sensor's measuring range. Match the PNP/NPN, relay, 4–20 mA or 0–10 V output to your control system. Similar housings or identical connection threads do not establish interchangeability. Physical condition and included equipment: Ask about corrosion, deposits and mechanical damage to the probe, diaphragm or float. Check probe length, pin assignment and cable condition. Confirm whether connector cables and the required sensor accessories are included.

Buying and item condition: Browse the product pages in this category for available items. Your seller is the store identified on the product page; confirm price, stock, delivery and specifications with that store. Used, unused, boxed, repaired, faulty and parts-only items must be clearly distinguished, with known faults and missing accessories disclosed. Check the store's product description for test scope, any calibration information, warranty terms and declarations of conformity with standards. Boxed or unused equipment does not automatically come with a warranty.
