Method of Resetting Trip Causes

If your inverter trips due to a malfunction or issue, ensure you remove the cause of the trip before attempting to reset it. Resetting the inverter without addressing the underlying issue will result in repeated trips.

Error Codes and Solutions

E-11 - Sequence Error:
- Causes:
+ No input signal from the system to input terminals.
+ Input terminal function (I30 or I31) not set up.
+ F630 is set incorrectly if not using the system-supporting sequence.
- Solutions:
+ Check if the sequence is normal.
+ Set I30 or I31 as the input terminal.
+ Set F630 to 0.0 if not using the sequence.

 E-12 - Encoder Error:

- Cause: Disconnection in the encoder circuit.
- Solution: Check and connect the encoder correctly.

E-13 - Speed Error (Over Speed):

- Cause: Abnormality in the encoder or inverter.
- Solution: Check and connect the encoder correctly.

E-14 - Too Much Potential Deviation:

- Cause: Potential deviation exceeded F631 set value during position control.
- Solutions:
+ Check encoder connection.
+ Increase F631 setting value.
+ Adjust position control parameters.

 E-17 - Key Error:

- Causes:
+ RUN or STOP key pressed for 5 seconds or more.
+ Key is faulty.
- Solution: Check the operation panel.

 E-18 - V/I Input Error:

- Cause: Wire breakdown for V/I input signal.
- Solution: Check V/I input signal.

 nr ON F-E1 ~ F-E5 - Read Error:

- Causes:
+ Abnormal connection between inverter and optional add-on cassettes.
+ Abnormality in control signal.
- Solutions:
+ Check connections with optional add-on cassettes. If unresolved, make a service call.

Indication and Solutions

 OFF - ST-CC Opened:

- Cause: ST terminal is in open-circuit.
- Solution: Close the ST-CC circuit.

 POFF - Control Circuit Undervoltage:

- Cause: Undervoltage between RO and SO of control power supply.
- Solution: Measure supply voltage. If normal, it needs repair service.

 NOFF - Main Circuit Undervoltage:

- Causes:
+ Undervoltage between R, S, and T of main circuit power supply.
+ Issue with pre-charge circuit or DC circuit fuse.
- Solutions:
+ Measure supply voltage. If normal, repair service is needed.

 rtry - Retry Indication:

- Causes:
+ In retry operation.
+ Momentary power failure occurred.
- Solution: If the inverter restarts after a few seconds, it’s normal. Be cautious as it may restart suddenly.

P-Er - Frequency Point Setting Error Alarm:

- Cause: Points 1 and 2 of frequency setting signal are too close.
- Solution: Space apart points 1 and 2 of the frequency setting signal.

 Clr - Clear Enabling Indication:

- Cause: STOP key pressed after a trip indication.
- Solution: Press STOP key again to reset.

EOFF - Emergency Stop Enabling Indication:

- Cause: Stop operation via panel during automatic or remote operation.
- Solution: Press any other key to cancel emergency stop.

Additional Error Codes

HI LO - Setup Value Error Alarm:

- Cause: Setup value error during data read/write.
- Solution: Check setup value for input error.

db, dbon - DC Braking Indication:

- Causes:
+ Under DC braking.
+ Motor shaft fixing control.
- Solution: If message disappears after a few seconds, it’s normal.

 E1, E2 - Panel Indication Overflow:

- Cause: Display overflow for frequency.
- Solution: Lower multiplying rate (F7072) for frequency.

 t - Communication Error:

- Causes:
+ Transmission errors when linked with the computer.
+ Transmission errors between inverters.
- Solutions:
+ Refer to the "Manual for communication".
+ Check the master inverter.

 init - Parameter Under Initialization:

- Cause: Parameters initializing to default values.
- Solution: If message disappears after a few seconds, it’s normal.

  Atn - In Auto-Tuning:

- Cause: In auto-tuning process.
- Solution: If message disappears after a few seconds, it’s normal.

Note: For DC injection braking ON/OFF function selected at input terminals, a disappearing "db" is normal if due to open-circuit.

Pre-Alarm Display

Indication and Meaning:

- C - Overcurrent Alarm: Same as OC (over-current).
- P - Overvoltage Alarm: Same as OP (over-voltage), blinking P during PBR operation is not an error.
- L - Overload Alarm: Same as OL1 / OL2 (overload).
- H - Overheat Alarm: Same as OH (overheat).

Simultaneous Alarm Display:
When multiple alarms occur simultaneously, the message will blink in order, such as CPL, PLH, CPLH. Blinking indications appear in order of C, P, L, H from left to right.
