Lite-On Servo Drives
ISA-7 and ISA-8E are servo-drive generations rather than EVO frequency inverters. Motor feedback, position commands and commissioning instructions depend on the matching servo system.
The ISA-7 user manual separates power and encoder wiring from position, speed and torque modes. Lite-On’s 2019 ISA-8E announcement identifies EtherCAT communication and 23-bit encoder support for the later generation.
Selection and compatibility
Read the full amplifier and motor labels together. Confirm feedback, command interface and firmware before moving a project or cable between ISA generations.
See Lite-On Files for the whole Lite-On range; compare wiring and feedback between earlier Lite-On ISA-7 and EtherCAT generation Lite-On ISA-8E.
Applications controlled by a frequency inverter belong under Lite-On Variable Frequency Drives; Lite-On EVO6000 and Lite-On EVO6800 are examples on that side.
For Lite-On Servo Drives, compare the matching device and release instructions in Lite-On user manuals.
