IC693BEM320
IC693BEM320 I/O LINK Interface (Slave) Module - Series 90-30 PLC
Overview: The IC693BEM320 I/O LINK Interface Module provides an interface between a Series 90-30 PLC and a proprietary Fanuc I/O LINK in a Fanuc CNC (Computer Numerical Control) or a Series 90-70 PLC. This module is configured to function only as a slave device (for master applications, refer to the IC693BEM321). The Fanuc I/O LINK is a serial interface that enables high-speed data exchange between a master device and up to 16 slave devices.
Features:
Slave Device: The IC693BEM320 operates only as a slave device, allowing the Series 90-30 PLC to send either 32 or 64 I/O points to the I/O LINK.
32 or 64 I/O Configuration: The module must be configured as either a 32 I/O or 64 I/O module during installation by setting a jumper plug inside the front cover of the module.
Wide Compatibility: The module can be installed in any Series 90-30 PLC model, and multiple I/O LINK Interface Modules can be installed within the system, provided the baseplate and other I/O modules meet the current load requirements.
Usage Example: A Series 90-30 PLC can be used as a slave in a Fanuc I/O LINK system configuration. The illustration below shows an example of how a Series 90-30 PLC fits into a Fanuc I/O LINK system.
Installation and Details:
This module can be installed in any Series 90-30 PLC, and it can be configured as either 32 I/O or 64 I/O using the jumper plug inside the module's front cover. Multiple I/O LINK Interface Modules can be installed within the system, but the baseplate's current limits should be taken into account. For more details, refer to Chapter 12, Load Requirements for Hardware Components, in this manual.
